Adjustments would often cause me to gain weight and it's been really frustrating. Just over six weeks ago I started the HCG diet with Weighless and I've lost over 21 lbs. Received flyer in the mail. Was excited at potential to lose my last 20 pounds in 40 days…read more Nutrimost offered free evaluation. I called and got in fairly quickly. Staff members were nice. I never did meet the supervising Doctor. Free evaluation: I stood on a special scale for a few seconds. This gave me a readout of my body fat, muscle mass, etc. After the eval, I met with a physician assistant who proceeded to tell me her story. My only question was how do you keep the weight off after being on a 500 calorie per day diet for 40 days. I didn't really get a straight answer, but I was still intrigued. I set up an appointment for the whole body scan which was only scheduled after I paid $2499. Body scan: I read through their paperwork which said if I did the scan and wanted a refund, I would only get 50% refund if I returned their special drops. I decided to do the scan. The scan lasted 20 minutes. I received a list of foods that are supposedly good for my body, along with a journal, guidebook, my special drops and all off he specialized hygiene/body care products I need to use while on the diet. I took my stuff home to really review it more in depth. After reviewing all of the materials and researching people's feedback online, I decided that I did not want to proceed with the diet. I contacted the office via email and they told me I should just come in and bring everything with me. I brought everything back as instructed. I did receive my refund of 50%. They would not let me keep the personal care products. I think that is disgusting. Once something is in someone else's home, it is contaminated. I understand and agree with returning the drops and the written material. I would never want someone else's personal care products. So for $1250 all I got was the "Free" scan. For that much money, they could have let me keep the personal care products and just took the drops back. This is just a warning in case you decide to do it and are receiving their required products. They could be used. Gross. The diet lowdown: This is not a long term solution. Your body will not reset itself with magical drops and a 500 calorie per day diet. If it does work, you will gain back everything you lost once you go back to a normal calorie diet. This is a scam. It is a huge waste of money and time. I already lost 5 pounds on my own by eating less carbs and lightly exercising. This is definitely a too good to be true scam. Everyone who does this program has to go through another 40 day round of 500 calorie eating to lose the weight they gained back after switching to normal eating. This is a viscous cycle and not a long term solution. You can intermittently fast on your own for free. Look it up. This was an expensive lesson learned. Save your money.
