We've got no issues with the 110, but the 125 will not shift from (1st to 2nd) gear. I called them and reported the issue. They wanted me to "Bring it back". I don't have a trailer. I paid them to deliver the motorcycles. I was looking at a 2018 Indian Cheiftain which is $35K + they've lost that sale!!

About two years ago, I took my Kawasaki multi-carb bike in to get some work. It was running on…read moreonly three of four cylinders after winter storage. They called me in a couple weeks and said it was finished. As I was about to ride away, the young guy, service manager I suppose, said, the bike might use a bit more gas. I asked why, he said we richened up the jets and raised the needles. He also said it was a very good running bike. Indeed it ran well but used alot of gas on the way home, not just a little but a lot. the next day, it started right up, but not with usual choke applied. it would only start with no choke. It was close to the end of the riding season, so drained the bowls, put it away. next spring, it started up after sitting all winter without any choke again but soon fouled a plug, then another a few weeks later. After talking to the dealer, the service manager says I wasn't probably riding it enough, not hard enough, etc. I showed him a carboned-up plug out of my pocket and manager said maybe the needles need to be lowered. Long story, short, didnt want to trust the bike to them again, sent the carbs to someone who specializes in these carbs, he found the carbs jetted way too rich and needles way too high for a stock bike with only a bolt on muffler. A very expensive mistake for me, paying twice for carb service.

I took my 86 Honda Helix to Fun Mart to get new front and rear tires. They call and tell me it's…read moredone. As I'm leaving the parking lot, the front brakes lock up. I call and they come trailer the bike back to their shop. They eventually call and tell me that my front brakes coincidentally went bad while I was leaving their parking lot. I pay them $300 to fix the front brakes. So now I've paid them $650 total. I get about a mile down the road and my front brakes lock up again. I pry the brakes open and limp the bike to my house. Bike hasn't moved since. Their mechanics totally screwed up my Helix because they didn't have the know how to do a simple tire replacement. Save yourself money and headache and take your bike elsewhere for repairs.

The counter guy knows me and knew that I was standing there quite a while waiting. What did I conclude from his actions? That my business is neither wanted nor needed there. The service and customer focus has declined dramatically since McGrath took it over. If you aren't there to drop a bundle of money each time you walk in the door, they have no interest in you.

One they knew I was a bike owner it was nice talking bikes with them & they welcomed me & told me they hope I stop back in if I ever make it back out this way from the DMI area. I just might do that when I start looking for a new Harley. The DMI Harley is always pushing me to upgrade & I felt more respect from this Great Harley Davidson store. Dropped off my Honda ruckus a while back for a fuel issue my fuel pump had gone out and had…read morereplaced it myself with a new one no problem still crank no start or starts and dies shortly after not having time to diag it farther sent it here only having removed the plastic guard over the engine. I'm told it needs a new carb or the old one rebuilt says it's about the same to just replace it as it is to rebuild it. So instead of having them replace it I said I'll buy the new carb and replace it myself not a difficult thing to do. My dad nice enough to pick it up after the diagnosis and get the new carb. I get back scooter in more pieces than when I dropped it off! Brought it here cause I didn't want another project but ended up with one anyway. I wouldn't be so mad if I wasn't a technician myself but for cars. If I returned a customers car back in pieces bet I wouldn't have a job.
