We phoned John Rae as we've used him before and was very satisfied with his services. John was however on holiday and I got an answering machine. The message said to leave my number which I did and to my surprise John phoned back despite being on holiday. I explained the problem to him and he decided to come round anyway to have a look at the problem. John found the problem straight away, a faulty fan which needed to be ordered. Problem was, this was Friday 30 December and all suppliers were shut or stock taking and we were faced being in a very cold house for about a week! However John went the extra mile and on his way home he passed a supplier that was not answering the phone and was about to close and they had the fan in stock. John returned with the fan fixed the problem and we were able to celebrate the New Year in a warm house! Thanks John, you went out of your way and never had such great customer service. Highly recommended!

Each person who worked on the house was very friendly and cheerful. They managed to do a complex project in three months with minimal upheaval to us. They sorted out any problems quickly and easily and there workmanship was fantastic. They kept us updated throughout the project and focused on the little details that could sometimes be missed. They were great builders who I would recommend totally. They were very pleasant and easy to deal with. They have a branch in Inverness and one in Tain and take on a variety of projects. They also do kitchens.
