She always comes home having made things and telling us all about lessons, her teachers, and what she's been doing. She enjoys school but as I said she seems to be learning lots as well. They often get the chance to go on little trips and there is also after school clubs which she often goes to as well where they do sports and games and things. Lovely little school in a nice area.

Canon Lee School doesn't have the best reputation but it is actually quite a good school. Me and…read morethe most of the people I know attended as pupils and most of the school had just been built brand new when I was there. There was a wide range of subjects taught and the teachers were mostly nice and understanding. We were given opportunities for school trips, including ones abroad. Me and all my friends left the school with good memories and good GCSE results so I have no complaints. Since I left the school they have carried on developing it and building more extra parts.

this is the high school i went to!…read more i can't say i loved every minute but i really feel that pretty much all of the staff here make it their best interests to ensure you achieve your full potential and are genuinely concerned about each students welfare. yes its a big school but staff take time to know everyone as an individual. you feel like an valued person rather than a name on a register. the teaching standards are good (some teachers are better than others, that is a given) for those who struggle to learn or have major behaviour problems there is this wonderful facility called 'the bridge' which is essentially an area of school where these students are taught in an environment where they will flourish rather than being shoved in a classroom and shouted at. verdict: when i have children i want them to come here

The concept for kids parties is simple - each child chooses a ceramic object (plate, piggy bank, cup, photo frame, mug, animal figure etc. - there are loads!) and paints it. Paints are provided as are smocks/overalls so your children dont get mucky. You can bring your own food and there are pizza places etc. nearby. Names are added to each painted object and these are then glazed and fired and can be collected a few days later. I have several prized things my kids have painted from here. They children really love getting the paint out and there is a great buzz as they paint their chosen object. It's triumphant really and a very different way to spend a party for little ones.
