For 3 Euros you can have a large cup with three embarrassingly large scoops of gelato. The staff are incredibly friendly and enthusiastic about their product. It's located through the arch and at the bottom of the road leading straight down from the Cathedral, so if you're in the habit of church-spotting, you can reward your good intentions with a wicked gelato afterwards. To emphasise how good the staff are, we got there at 2pm for our second visit of the holiday, only to find it closed. We stood in dismay, staring at the opening times (9am-1pm and 3pm-10pm) until we heard someone calling arrivo! arrivo! It was the owner, who opened up the gelateria specifically to serve us. What a guy.
