California roadside Service is a provider for AAA! Today was a very ugly, disgusting situation by a tow truck driver that works for California Roadside Service! I told the driver, don't drive the vehicle because there's no transmission fluid or engine coolant! He saw that I was disabled and did the exact opposite! He drove the vehicle out of my driveway spewing transmission fluid everywhere and when he got to the middle of the street, the car would no longer move forward or in reverse and he continued to rev it until there was a loud popping noise! He got out of the vehicle, left it in the middle of the street and moved his tow truck back to try and load the vehicle! He winched the car halfway up the bed and then released the vehicle into the street! Walked towards me and threw my keys and the ($10 tip I gave him before all of this) at me! He said " go F myself and that it's my fault" and drove away leaving a disabled person without any help, on the side of the road! Is this the type of employees AAA and California Roadside Service want to use to represent them? I've never been treated like this in the 25 years as a member at AAA! What will AAA and California Roadside Service do to resolve these multiple problems that happened to me tonight? The driver knew he was guilty of breaking my transmission in my car and spewing transmission fluid all over my driveway, then throwing my keys at an disabled person and leaving me stranded! Is this the type of service I will be getting in the future? I'd like to get a response from AAA and California Roadside Service! read more

My sister called into AAA. Brea towing was sent out to help. Some guy named John showed up and was a complete CHUMP! My sister and her daughter were threatened by this guy named John, then he refused to leave the property after being asked several times. John, the employee from BREA TOWING, scared these girls so bad they had to call the police to their home. All because these two woman needed help, they had to go through all of this.......???? When the police showed up, they almost had to take him/John/Chump to jail due to his tone and the way he was cursing at the police. This guy clearly hates woman and should definitely NOT be employed by BREA TOWING.....!!!! I am going to make sure everyone at the highest level of management at AAA, knows EXACTLY who they are contracting with, to try and ensure this does not happen to any other woman that are by themselves and in need of help. I will email and hand write as many letters as needed to make sure EVERYONE at AAA knows about this specific situation...... I know this just happened, so I will give BREA TOWING a couple of days to fire this degenerate low-life, and do the right thing. If not, I will make sure AAA cancels their contract due to allowing this type of practice and hatred towards females to continue with employees like JOHN that works for BREA TOWING. Where is the background check, due you drug test your potential employees, also , how many other woman have been scared because of your employee JOHN?????? I called Triple A today because I was unable to drive my car when I left the Bank in Fullerton. They, as usual, were very professional and when they found out where I was they said they would be sending BREA TOWING and that I would soon get a call on my cell phone with further information. The call came and I was told they would be there in about 30 minutes. I was worried because on a main street I was suddenly not able to control the car... it was going so slow that all drivers on the road were honking ... I had to struggle with the wheel to guide the car over to the right curb.... I was worried as to how they would be able to get a flat bed in position on a busy street lined with businesses and cars parked along the curb. I'M AN OLDER GIRL .... and this incident had me shaken up... to say the least. When they arrived.... earlier than expected..... there were two men. One was in training and both were absolutely awesome... very capable, very knowledgeable, and an absolute God Sent ! ... they managed to position their carrier and had my vehicle up and secured in no time and I rode home with them. It has been my experience in recent years that Customer Service is non existent .... but I can not say enough for "Cisco" and "Jessie" of BREA TOWING. I immediately felt that the hero's had arrived. If I ever break down again I only hope I am in their territory. Thank you guys... you were great. read more

My son purchased a used car without letting us know and although he is very much an adult, his choices many times have not been so good. Anyway, he locked the only key in the car that happens to be a BMW model that is next to impossible to open. In addition, my son said he would be there in 10 minutes to meet AAA, who contracts with Brea Towing. Kudos for AAA choosing Brea Towing to answer calls on their behalf because the driver they sent was an amazing genuine people person. His name is Drew. He called me to let me know he was there, sadly my son was not. My son was stuck in traffic and Drew was so nice and was willing to wait unless he got another call. Drew did what any diligent employee would do and left to handle another customer in need, but you know that he stayed in contact with me and after solving the other person's needs, went right back to strategically do the impossible, open the car that even AAA said could not guarantee, and we have been preferred members for years. I am so impressed with Drew that I need to let the management know, AAA know and of course the Yelp family who they can count on 100%. Fantastic job Drew, there are few that impress me enough to write about or you would see tons of reviews from me, but you Drew, I will hire you anytime, you have so much potential and I hope management sees it too! My Memorial Weekend was starting out on a horrible note, as my car got stuck in a shell car was last Friday 5/25/18. My car was not recognizing my key fob and simply would not start. AAA sent me Ron from Brea Towing and he worked tirelessly to try and get my car to start. After realizing that it might be my battery, we still had the problem of his tow truck even being able to tow my 2013 Ford Flex out of the car wash, due to liability issues. Fortunately for us, he was able to extend his tow forks into the facility and under my car. Once he pulled it out, my car started coming to life. To make sure that I was going to be safe, he checked my battery and found that it was completely dead, so he gave me a jump and off I went to my mechanic to get it replaced. Ron was so very nice, personable and willing to do what he could to help me and I greatly appreciate it! Words cannot express my gratitude for Ron, as his helpful demeanor and fortitude, got my out of a pickle and I was only an hour late for work!! Thank you Brea Towing and Thank you Ron for all that you did for me. I hope to run in to you someday, so that I can buy you lunch, as I didn't even have any cash on me in order to provide you with a tip, which I feel horrible about! If it wasn't for the business card I asked for that I quickly stuffed in my wallet, I would have forgotten to write this. It had been a pretty crazy week with losing a family member and now having the worst luck with my only mode of transportation. I called AAA and was hoping someone would be sent that would be able to take over the issue and get me home. Shawn from Brea Towing not only got my now useless mode of transportation out of a not so ideal spot without pause, but did so while talking to me about how he relates to my loss as we stumbled onto the subject because he recently lost a close family member as well a few days prior. This guy is probably the most uplifting, positive, motivated, focused and driven individual I've ever met in my 47 years of living. I would continue by divulging the inspiring and simple conversation that took place, however, I will let you sit in anticipation for the day you meet this uncommon, very wise individual. I would like to give a shout out to Leslie for being an awesome employee for Brea Towing. I own an 87 Chevy Silverado Truck that unfortunately had a gas pump failure on the 91 heading towards Fullerton and it left me stranded on the shoulder. I had called AAA for a tow, but I had unfortunately given them the wrong directions; admittedly I was tired from waking up at 6AM still. Brea Towing was called by AAA, but my location was outside of their usual work area. Luckily I had Leslie from the company go above and beyond the call of duty, and still came to help me get back home safely. I am greatful for Leslie helping me when he didn't need to, and it says a lot about him and the Brea Towing Co. It was awesome to talk with him along the way back, and he was very knowledgeable about cars. He even told me what might of went wrong with the truck. He thought it might of been an air pocket in my fuel line when I switched gas tanks so he gave me a tip on how to leak the carburetor. (Sadly it wasn't and it was my fuel pump failing) However, I am still happy to have had Leslie help me in my time of need, and he's a wonderful employee who's willing to go the extra mile in helping someone no matter what. read more

Hands down, I had the absolute best AAA experience last night. BOBBY from BREA TOWING showed up in no time to help me with my car that suddenly would not start. To start off, he introduced himself and very politely asked if I am ok. He obviously knew my battery was dead. He let me know the diagnostic tests he was going to perform to figure out why my car would not start. There were 3 tests i would have results ON paper that will tell me why my car will not start. Sure enough, not only was my battery bad, my alternator was failing as well. He gave me diagnostic report that gave me documentation so I did not have to pay a mechanic to tell me problem. He introduced himself to my husband when he arrived & made sure he would follow me directly home to make sure I was safe. He warned us car could potentially shutdown if battery light suddenly blinks on my dash and to pull over to be safe. He would text in a short while to make sure we made it home safe. Not only did he check on us last night, he also text today to see how I was. He made sure that I know I can call him anytime if I have anymore car issues. Thank You Bobby and Brea Towing!!!! Blake. Is. A. Life-saver. Originally, he was called over just to simply tow my car. (Another technician had come out and with no luck, we decided to just go ahead and tow my car.) But, instead of just simply strapping my car on and leaving, he asked if it would be alright to try a couple other things as a last resort. I know very little about cars. But, as he was working, he took the time to explain what was happening and what he was doing in language even someone as car-challenged as me could understand. When I had mentioned to him that I planned on getting my car towed to the lot of where my family works, he advised me otherwise. I didn't even know a dealership accepted cars after-hours, but thankfully, now I do. He sticked with me through the whole process, explained everything along the way, and made sure I got home safely (I live roughly 30-35 mins away from where my car died). Everyone knows towing a car can definitely ruin a day, but Blake made the whole experience less stressful and a breeze. EDGAR!!!! Okay, this man is THE best man ever. After a horrific day, this knight and shining armor came to my rescue miles away from home in Brea where my car had broken down. He was so patient, so helpful and so sweet from beginning to end. After a really really rough day (AAA your policy of not letting family use the others tow is RIDICULOUS and cruel especially in 108 degree weather so prepare for a severely negative review) but Edgar came swooping in and saved the day. Not only arriving in minutes, but patiently waiting at the pick up spot. Driving myself and a coworker over an hour to Santa Monica, dropping my coworker off, my car off at the shop and then myself off at the front of my door. I truly didn't think, especially today, that there were still people that are genuinely kind and unselfishly willing to do whatever they can for someone in need--but Edgar proved that wrong. CHAD HORTON IS THE MAN! I can't thank you enough. You are seriously the most amazing person. I am forever thankful for you bringing me and my car back home safely. You were so understanding about my 9:30 pm to 5 am horrific night/morning in search of a tow truck, not to mention that I was stranded 100 miles away from home. On Thursday, I had the worst morning of my life. My car broke down, when the street sweeping was coming and I had to be at work in a couple of hours. AAA was supposed to send me a tow truck and through miscommunication they sent me a battery assist truck. I was in a rush and so frustrated. He told me it would be about 20 mins for another truck to come and tow my car. By some sort of miracle the tow truck was there in half the time. His name was Ron. He checked out everything that was going on then quickly got me going so I could make it to my train,(Which I now had to take to get to work). He knew about the issue I was experiencing and instructed me on how to communicate with the shop he was taking me to. He also had knowledge of the shop and helped communicate with them for me. On the ride over he shared some of his personal experiences and made me laugh. It really helped to calm me in this crazy situation. I am so thankful to Ron. I'm writing to commend your service driver, Kyle Brian with Brea Towing for his proficient and professional demeanor when providing service. On Easter Sunday afternoon, our granddaughter, Sara Chaffin, who is a member, was leaving to attend a dinner and discovered a nearly flat front tire. Fearing she would be late for the dinner she was somewhat upset and called for service. Kyle arrived very quickly and assessing the situation assured Sara he would get her on the road very quick. He removed the flattened tire and mounted the temporary spare tire, and checked and added air to all the other tires. He assured Sara that for safety she should not exceed 55 mph with the "donut" tire, wished her well and had her on her way in approx. 15 minutes. Kyle displayed excellent "people skills" and was very courteous when interacting with an upset granddaughter and quickly resolved the issue. The short story: Quick arrival. Their man John was courteous, professional, and skilled. I Could not have gotten better service if I waved a magic wand. The complete story: Auto club said that it would be 30 to 45 minutes before the tow truck would arrive. They were wrong. It was probably less than five and certainly less than 10 minutes. I thought I just had a dead battery. John took the time to show me how it was damaged as well as how to prevent the same damage from happening to the next battery. After he got the car started, he followed me to the gas station and stayed around to make sure I had enough gas to get home as well as make sure the car would re-start. If my wife ever gets stuck at night like I was, I would be very relieved to know that it was this company and technician that came to her rescue. This is planet earth where we don't have any magic wands to waive. Since we don't have any magic wands, roadside service just doesn't get any better than this.
