Thorough review here! After being asked to leave a 5-star review, I analyzed my experience completely before deciding to go with my review. Today, I went to get a reading, the same day as another user, and from the looks of that particular review, no. If I'm being honest with myself, then as my impression with a business, I am going to give a thorough honest review. Gianna did not connect to my life and situation, nor did she say anything specific about me. She said a lot of generic things. She gives me the intro everyone always says: that she's going to be blunt, so I expect it. All I get were incorrect details that was said about me, and I'm one to be open about ANYTHING that is said. Let's backtrack a bit. To start off, I reached out to her via messages the night before. She said I could call her, it all sounded really good over the phone. She named her prices and get this-- she said she already knows I want to "ask about love life, career and health". Aren't those the 3 common categories? Generic hook but I give people the benefit of the doubt first. She fell short of what she said she was going to deliver. Forward to the actual appointment. I arrived on time, a couple of mins early. I see a client sitting on the couch, another one sitting inside the reading room with Gianna. She signals for me to come in. I'm thinking, alright, so she's sought after--great! She comes out with the first client and recognizes me as her 1pm appointment, then asks if I'm in a rush. Of course I said no; I mean I did drive half an hour to get there. So, she takes the second client in anyway and I had to wait an extra 30 minutes in total even though our appointment was set for 1:00. An apology for my extra wait would've been nice, but she just checks her phone while she asks me to have a seat. We get started and I shuffle the tarot cards, then she asks me to hold her crystal ball where my solar plexus is. I start talking when she would ask, but she stops me from saying any more and says that it's her job to tell me of my life. Okay, great, so I wait to be stunned by the info about my life. Nada. This was when the real nightmare begins. Not only did she get details about my life wrong, she starts off with asking about my age, and guesses that I just went through a separation (no)--then questions like, "Are you divorced?" I responded no, and asks if she could tell me anything about my love life right now then (by this point, I don't even care that I'm quizzing her now, she was already getting things so wrong). She proceeds to say there is going to be someone who is interested in me and he's going to make a move soon. Aah. Generic but also way off. I corrected her and mentioned I'm actually in a divine significant relationship with my partner. She then changes her words, "That's what I meant." Cringe. Of course, she mentions things like I "give more to others than myself". So tell me something about my life, please. It becomes generic again and she stares into my eyes numerous times (manipulation tactic), like she's trying to read me, but I intuitively feel she has nothing. The worst part? Her phone kept going off during OUR session that I am PAYING for. Totally unprofessional. As a client in that moment, I felt disrespected and unattended to. I am obviously giving her my undivided attention, she could do the same, as someone who was performing a service. GET THIS: She took her calls right in front of me and was distracted. Then rolled her eyes and said, "Family drama." Really? I don't care. We're here for ME. Tell me why I should be paying for this again? I even silenced MY phone for this. Yikes, the only fact was that she remained cordial during the session. It's also not like I showed any signs of impatience, so why wouldn't she be? I could clearly tell she wasn't connected to me at all, hence why she stopped reading about me abruptly and started upselling on her other packages the last 15 minutes she talked. She repeated it again trying to remain eye contact with me but I didn't budge. You could tell from her gaze that she wasn't getting through to me. Not to mention, her husband and son kept circling around waiting for her to finish; you could tell she was in a rush. I was so disappointed in this session that honestly had nothing to do with me. Everything about the experience was subpar--and if I know anything about getting readings: if you're not completely satisfied/didn't connect, you don't need to pay for it. However, if you're like me, I came for a service and paid it--wanting to get out of there ASAP. A refund seems to be the only professional and right way after all the things I mentioned. After leaving, I sat in my car for a bit recalling what happened during our session, and I just felt obligated to leave my honest review. This isn't one of those reviews that require a passive aggressive response from the owner, but own up to what you did and didn't do. I am speaking openly about my experience. Thanks for my time. read more
