There's nothing better than Peruvian Rotisserie chicken! They have a wall dedicated towards all the rewards they have received for their great food, including their more recent award for Best of Orlando 2022. Their Rotisserie chicken it's always served fresh & it's obvi super flavorful. There's various sides you can choose from, we chose to pair ours with French fries, and maduros.

First time coming here and I was pleasantly surprised! My coworker was telling me about this place and I'm so happy we stopped in for lunch. Cute, quaint little place. She told me they definitely upgraded a little bit from what it used to be. They have a mixture of high tops, six tops, and four tops inside. Even a little bar area right when you walk in. I got the lunch special, which comes with 1/4 chicken, salad and your choice side (I chose the maduros). It was so good! The chicken was super flavorful and tender. The maduros were sweet and soft. Parking is easy in the parking lot, and service was fast and friendly. Definitely will be back! If you haven't been, I highly recommend trying it!

I have been wanting to try this place forever and finally did. It was a great experience! My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch and were seated immediately. I saw some reviews mention that service is lacking sometimes, but that was not the case for us. Our server was very attentive and checked on us regularly. Food came out quickly as well. I ordered the quarter Peruvian chicken and a side of beans and rice. The chicken was juicy and delicious on its own and then the sauces they bring elevated it. I was all about the white sauce and chimichurri! The other sauce was not my favorite, but not bad. The rice and beans were very good. The rice was cooked perfectly and I added the liquid from the chimichurri to give it even more yummy flavor. My boyfriend got the breaded steak and enjoyed it. I tasted it and thought it was good as well. The portions are very generous. I really want to try the potato appetizer with sauce (I cannot think of how to spell the proper name), but we didn't figure we would be able to finish our meals if we ordered it this time. As it was, we had leftovers anyhow so I'll be back to try that appetizer and other items in the future!

YUMMY!!! I can't believe I've lived half a mile from here and have just now experienced the most delicious chicken of my life!! Bra as has remained a popular spot in the south SODO area of Orlando, and for good reason. This authentic Peruvian spot is serving up the most delicious meals. Apps - Papa a la huancaina is delicious. My favorite appetizer thought is the Yuca a la huancaina. The ceviche is also top notch. Entrees - The chicken is a MUST TRY. Wow.. it's amazing. Some nights if we don't have any dinner ideas, we'll just order a full chicken from Brazas and cook up some veggies on the side. The Lomo Saltado is also a winner. So delicious. Sides - Don't forget to get a side order of sweet plantains. They are cooked so perfectly! Seating - indoors and limited outdoor seating. Fairly quick service. You'll love it!

The food has been delicious the past two times I've tried Brazas. I ordered takeout and it was ready within 15 minutes or so and I paid at the restaurant. Brazas is Peruvian food, known for their chicken. For $22.33 including tax, I ordered a whole chicken with a small side of fried yucca (starchy root vegetable; similar to French fries but tastier), and a signature Peruvian creamy cheese sauce "crema a la huancaina". See pictures of the delicious food! Heading back to my car in parking lot, a potential new patron said she heard the chicken is good and ask if they sell small pieces, which they do! Check their menu on Facebook. My Peruvian friend loves Brazas, by the way!

    Pollo a la Brasa

I came here on a Sunday afternoon and to my surprise, this place was really busy. I wasn't really expecting that, considering Brazas Chicken is kind of out of the way. We sat down, ordered quickly, and our food followed shortly. We came in a group, so we ordered a whole rotisserie chicken (Pollo a la Brasa) with fries and salad, and my buddy ordered a fried fish. We also ordered some Peruvian sodas since the chicha morada is not made in-house. The food was really good, the chicken was very tasty, the salad was very good, the fries were really good also (not regular string fries), but the sauces that accompany the chicken were amazing. The fish was good, according to my buddy, and we did not get dessert. So, being born in Peru, I can say that this is one of the best overall Pollo a la Brasa in Orlando, almost Florida. I did not really like that the chicken looked and felt like roasted chicken (versus rotisserie), but it tasted good. The fries though... the fries and the sauces really did it for me. Rotisserie chicken and fries to Peruvians is like Fish and Chips to Brits. We really take this seriously. The service was good, the place is clean, maybe a little warm, but nothing horrible. Brazas Chicken is a bit isolated, but the food is worth the trip.

    Chicha Morada
    Juancho T.

The Chicha Morada is not homemade but bottled. The menu is very limited on selections compared to the other Peruvian restaurants located in the area.Chimichurri is different from traditional chimichurri but delicious. The garlic mayo sauce perfect for the tostones . The chicken was flavorful and moist. The menu price for the meal is reasonable. The restaurant charges a 3.99% fee if paying with debit/ credit cards. The staff was very friendly and patient.

We were one of the first groups seated in the restaurant, yet it took over 1.5 hours for our food to arrive for a party of four. During that time, there was very little communication or reassurance regarding the delay, which made the experience even more frustrating. Our server, Sinah, was not attentive and did not check in consistently throughout the wait. A little acknowledgment or hospitality would have gone a long way considering how long we were waiting. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. After waiting that amount of time, it was disappointing to receive dishes that clearly had not come out fresh or hot. The reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The decor, ambiance, and aesthetic are stunning and clearly designed with presentation in mind. It's definitely a visually appealing space and great for photos. However, if you are looking for a stellar dining experience with strong service and timely, quality food, I would not recommend this spot. Come for the pictures, not necessarily for the overall experience.

With that said, the food was excellent and there's a ton to choose from - it's easy to get overwhelmed, but the thing I enjoyed the most was the service and how sweet our server was (I forgot her name, but she was always so sweet and patient with our family). There were tons of folks eating mofongo so I'm sure that's a fan favorite here. We tried a few appetizers, juices, rice and beans, and shared a large platter that had multiple options for the family since it was our first visit and we didn't know what to try first. The tostones rellenos de churrasco (skirt steak stuffed fried green plantains) were delicious and come with five little cups and a dipping sauce that I'm pretty sure was mayo/ketchup. They also put a little PR flag on top which my kids enjoyed playing with. This ended up being my main meal because I wasn't that hungry, and it was the perfect bite of crispy, salty, and creamy with the dipping sauce. We also tried another appetizer that I didn't try, alcapurria de carne, which comes with two rolls cut in half (husband enjoyed it) and the Assorted Pal Campo which comes with chicharon, fried yuca, chicharron de pollo, tostones, fried cheese topped with a sweet guava sauce (that my daughter was not a huge fan of - I would ask for it on the side next time), and sausage. Definitely a heavy meal - and I felt like I needed to eat salad for the next two days straight after this meal - but it was tasty. Next time I'll ask for a side of cucumbers or something to break up all of the fried elements, or order something that comes with slaw/veggies.
