I'm giving this place 4 stars, but in reality this should be not more than 3.5, as mediocre food (3 at the most) was balanced with excellent service.
We stopped by for dinner. I decided to go with beer for my meal - Sleepy Dog IPA was good, but more on a bitter IPA side.
I ordered the toast as an appetizer, and it was supposed to be literally a flagship dish according to our waiter. The toast was overloaded with truffle oil and everything else was one mushy concoction, lacking any texture, a single note flavor profile and rather on a salty side.
Baked scrod was not bad, fish was cooked very well even though the portion was tiny (please don't bring any comments about Americans, it was tiny), but overall balance was again on the salty side.
Excellent service though. read more
