The menu offers a wide variety of dishes and provides a well-written description for all of them. I would give a special mention to the Argentinian beef "Mai 68" Mr Asli style (Chief' special) served in a 250g or 350g variant. My friend took the salmon which was tasty as well. Bottom line, The Cambridge for sure deserves a (if not the) top spot on my list of restaurants to go for in LLN.

The menu has quite a bit of variety and prices range around 10euros for a main course. It has a very nice terrasse as well, you can enjoy it at any time even in the winter, just ask and they'll set a table up for you. Obviously do not expect gourmet cuisine or a romantic candle atmosphere, it's a student restaurant and the space is tight so it's pretty loud but the food is great for the price! The waiters are mainly students and provide a nice service. A tip will make their day!

A rare steak was ordered and it came out well done, a cassoulet of scampi bisque was served as a pasta and bland sauce and the suggestion of the day, mussels, was tasteless no matter what sauce it was served with and three different ones were ordered. At least we would get the Belgian Frites but even they were in short supply!!! Our Belgian host complained about his steak and the shortcomings of the other meals to which an answer could not be given and nothing offered as a complement. When we went to pay the bill the manager spoke to us but still nothing offered as a suggestion that the meal was not satisfactory. Well i guess they do it differently in Belgium - you just have to put up with bad food. Well if you don't want to don't go to this restaurant!!!
