That having been said, I can't say that disappoints me, because it's a great dining option. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? Just outside the train station, Brasserie Bodini is an absolutely brilliant location, and to compound that, the staff are friendly and quick. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? €7.50 for this Macaroni Carbonara? Brilliant! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/ks9MiB2KH-mGT3f6oEcjwg?select=Poz1fSvEOSMzqqxkxW5a2w#Poz1fSvEOSMzqqxkxW5a2w Seriously, this was absolutely stunning value. For 7.50, I got a meal (twice, mind you) that comfortably fed me for two full meals. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? As I've said before, it's tough to mess up Carbonara, but it's also tough to get it right. Brasserie Bodini? They get it right. Clearly freshly made from start to finish, the dish is just as much a lasagna as it is pasta. I honestly don't even know quite what to say here, but know that it's amazing. Dual Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Friendly service? Check. Great location? Absolutely. Open when nothing else is? Yup. Food? Excellent. Star Granted.

They have a nice restaurant and beer garden. The food is underrated. I had the boulet and they were ridiculous. The sauce that came on them were ridiculous. The fries were crunchy with a soft interior. Belgians just know how to do fries the right way. Everything is made fresh here and you can taste it. The bread was even some of the best I have had! The curtius beer was my favorite. It is light and goes down easy. You can also buy some to-go from the shop and I highly suggest you do that! So good! The service was great and the place was clean and fun. Apparently they have different parties and beer tastings when the weather is nice. Come check it out you won't regret it.

We walked past it last year and didn't have time to stay, so a year later we made it a special point to pop in here after our climb up and down the Montagne de Bueren. Their beer, Curtius, has taken over the town, and for good reason - it's a great, dry Blonde, at 7%, with a little cloudiness that's likely the result of some wheat in the mash. It's like a Duvel but drier and not quite as strong. They have a bar menu but were out of most things when we were there. So we got hapjes (chicken wings) and the cheese plate, which had 3 outstanding cheeses, including a really nice local chevre.
