I managed to catch a pair of beautiful brown slip-ons for £57.....down from £130....I was ok with that. Excellent leather is used to form well made shoes that are also very light, great style and serviceable. Staff very helpful. 4 Stars as parking is poor. I always used to hate department stores. But I have been converted over the years…read more If truth be told I would give this store a 4.5 stars if I could but in this case I have rounded up. Since I have been back in the Uk for my visit I have been 4 times to this store. The first time I was just browsing for baby clothes and toys, second and forth time it was to use the baby change facility and third time was for a makeover at the Benefit counter. On the second visit I went to the baby changing facility as the store I had planned to visit had suffered a flood in their room. Of course the toilets, baby change facility and childrens clothes and toys are all on the top floor, this has to be the main thing which would tip them to a 4.5 star review instead of 5 given that the lift/elevator is quite slow and there is no way you can get up that far with the use of stairs! The baby changing facilities are great, smelly bin/trash can aside of course (but that is a given wherever there are changing facilities). In this one there is a toilet and sink so you can go relieve yourself at the same time and if you have toddlers/small children there are mini ones for them too in there! There is a great selection of baby and childrens clothes available here, ladies clothing, mens clothing, accessories, homeware and of course a café! Debenhams are quite possibly the best of department stores in regards to their selection and availability within towns. Not many towns are without a Debenhams and that is one of the reasons why when we got married almost 5 years ago we had a wedding list with them. In addition to the registry availability you will find there is a personal shopper service available. I can spend hours in this store, or would if my little lady would let me! She is a shopper in training!

average range of shoes as quite a small store. better range for kids upstairs but with no lift…read moreunless you take soemone wiht you you cant get up there to look at it. staff allow you to leave prams/pushchairs downstairs but i dont really like doing that. hte range of mens shoes is very small but in my experience men dont really go for a large range of shoes lol
