I sat through their presentation in exchange for some free show tickets.
I will say, I didn't think their sales was particularly "high pressure" at all. That being said, I didn't think their product was for me and we declined.
Specifically, they while they are not a timeshare, they claim essentially to be a travel agent selling things "significantly discounted." The "membership" purchase price was 15,000 with a 350 a year fee.
For that, you were supposedly getting discounted rooms , airfare and cruises. While some of the prices they were sharing as examples were definitely cheaper, but not enough to justify the 14K "membership".
Additionally, when I asked to browse their website to see these discounts for myself, they told me that there is no website, and you have to call a designated travel agent who will give you prices over the phone. I shop for vacations at all hours, and I don't want to talk to anyone!
That was the deal killer for me. No web access, questionable discounts and a large purchase made it out of the question for me.
I can see this being convenient for someone who isn't a very savvy traveler and who doesn't like the internet... but those people are few and far between.
If in Branson and you have time, you should listen to what they have to say... but I do travel a lot and didn't think it was that great of a deal. That being said, the people were very nice and when I said no, they were fine with it. read more
