He picked Davenport and helped me both to and fro the pier, climb up into "the Cave", and was super accommodating to the fact that I wanted my mom and sister along for the shoot. At one point, Casey was climbing back up the mountain with his tripod, lighting equipment, and my towel because I was too scared to hold on to my towel. I could NOT be happier with the result. My book was released in January and everyone absolutely loves the cover. To check out the book, please go here: https://www.amazon.com/Life-Liberty-Pursuit-Happiness-felicidad/dp/1793144478 The hardest part of the process was deciding which one of the bad ass pictures he took would be the cover. I look forward to writing another book and working with Casey again!

We met up in Davis because I saw the location of the bridge that she had taken in her portfolio and wanted the same scenery. My husband does not like taking pictures (always forced every family photoshoot) lol. but even he said he liked Jennifer. She is professional, she knew exactly where and how we should pose. My boys were cooperating and she knew how to make them laugh... I would highly recommend Jennifer to be your photographer, she's going to be mine every year now. Stoyan Katinov took pictures for our daughter's wedding. He provided a First Look/Bridal session, as well as photos for a civil wedding, wedding reception, and Temple sealing. We had him take pictures at all events and added one hour of video footage. Stoyan went the extra mile. My daughter added the First Look session late. He accommodated her and took beautiful pictures. He made sure she had some pictures to display at the wedding reception. It was a tight time frame of only a couple days between, but he made it all happen. The First Look session was a bit of a challenge with a significant amount of wind. Stoyan made the wind work in our daughter's favor by capturing veil movement. The pictures turned out amazing. He was patient and spent a lot of time getting things just right. Their silhouette at sunset looked like it was out of a glamor magazine. At the civil marriage and wedding reception, my daughter had numerous specific requests which Stoyan graciously accommodated. At the Temple photo session, he artfully negotiated a difficult backdrop. The Original Provo Temple had many people coming in and out of the doors. The pictures were lovely with him capturing the spring flowers and blossoms and of course the couple. He also captured far away and close up shots of the Temple. This Temple will soon be extensively renovated, so capturing the present look was important to my daughter. The video was perfect! It was fun and enjoyable to watch and captured the most important moments. My daughter and her husband are fun. They smile a lot and are deeply in love. Stoyan captured both their joy and love. Stoyan Katinov is the best photographer I have worked with. We have done family pictures professionally before and this is our third wedding.

The event planners really know what they are doing-- they've got it down to a science and have lots of options for decor you can use. They manage set up and clean up very well and they don't try to nickel and dime you for everything. There is a groom's room and a bride's room that both have bathrooms, couches and large mirrors. There's a large kitchen/preparation area as well. There are definitely more beautiful places to hold an event-- especially when you consider outdoor locations (Utah is gorgeous and there are LOTS of wedding venues), however: the price is right here and is one of the better options I've found for an indoor event that allows you to pick your own caterer. It is is in sort of a random location-- above an urgent care center on the top floor of a business building, but it has a good view and is a fairly decent size. Overall, it's an average event venue but the management, values and my personal experiences make it 4 stars.

Emily, our day of coordinator, was good to work with. We live in California so we had some requests that we felt were normal but for a Utah venue apparently were different. We had to have many discussions regarding the bar and dance floor but were able to work it out. We also requested to bring in a caterer that was not on their vendors list which was met with hesitation but they were able to agree to terms and now I believe this caterer will be working with Quiet Meadow in the future! One great addition to this venue is that it comes with it's own decorations so we spent very little on any extras. The reason this venue gets 4 stars and not 5 is the amount of time you get the facility. We only had it from 2-10 pm and I am not sure why we couldn't have accessed the premisses sooner. If they extend the time and are a little more lenient on the bar, then it is a 5/5!

One BIG selling point was use of the microphone for our presentation. It failed us miserably. The people in charge did not check the microphone, it did not work, no replacement on hand, complete failure to provide this needed and excepted resource, they were not available the entire day for help, and when we ask for a partial refund, they agreed to it, but now won't pay. They refuse to call back, reach out, unless we continually bug them. They have yet to refund us a portion of our fee as they agreed to. They are making it very difficult to find them and work with them. It's such a bummer, because we liked the venue, but working with them is less than desirable. Buyer beware - they are non responsive when you really have a need for feedback and help.
