Having to move away from Savannah, Ga. where my home was located, I had to obtain a dependable, honest and outstanding Lawn service to maintain my yard. I was apart of an HOA and he made sure I stayed in compliance by cutting my yard on a biweekly basic. He maintained the shrubs and applied pine straw when it was needed. In addition, he would send me pictures of the yard after the yard service was preformed. He is the best at what he does and he is very reasonable. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Recommendation to other customers, DO NOT start the work until you have the…read moreestimate in writing. Very poor business practice in this company. I called Bloomhouse Landscape and Irrigation to obtain an estimate to replace 13 sprinkler heads. I was informed that the cost should not exceed $700, if the cost when above that, I would be informed before moving forward. I walked the ground with the two-man team to explain what I needed. The team lead recommended an additional sprinkler head in the back yard. I asked for the cost, and he stated that it should not exceed $100, so I agreed, thinking that the total cost would be around $800. Upon the finish, I walked the ground to check the sprinkler heads. I'm satisfied with the work and provided the lead person with $40 cash, a $20 bonus for each person. Later, I was informed that the bill was $1,881.83, over a $1,000 increase over the estimate. I paid with a check and three (3) days later I still don't have a receipt. I've called the office 3-4 times trying to obtain why the large increase in cost and for a receipt. Still no reply. I won't use this company for any work moving forward. Recommendation to other customers of this company, DO NOT start the work until you have the estimate in writing.
