I needed a family law attorney in Butler County to research a very serious child support situation…read more The issue was the amount of time that had passed since the divorce. It was over 25 years. Somehow I found myself on the phone with Attorney Gerald Wirsch and after hearing my 30 minute story, he immediately went to work. With me on the phone, he contacted several Butler County offices and got the information I needed to move forward. He went above and beyond anything I could have expected and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a top flight attorney that actually cares.

Leading up to our trial for a custody/parental alienation case it seemed we were dealing with someone who was very busy as we received little communication. I get that's typical in the legal profession, we assumed he had a busy work load. However, we were also paying clients and did not feel that he fully grasped our situation. We reached out occasionally and sometimes get a response days later (if any). I will mention that we requested a call to discuss things around our trial date to ensure we were on the same page. He did make time for us the day before our court date. While we appreciated the contact, it was too late to add any evidence or possibly make changes to help our cause. Upon arriving the day of court, we heard him mention to us that some of the exhibits were turned in late. We had so much false hope for how things would go that day. He did encourage us on the short breaks in the briefing room and seemed to know the law- which is why I added a star. However, verdict came in the mail. We lost. Everything. Reached out to him. He never responded or followed up to offer condolences or legal advise. Nothing. Seems like a nice guy overall but save your money If you need a shark on your case!

This lawyer talks about how his law firm shows compassion which is absolutely a joke. They took my money to file a charge with the OCRC and the EEOC and he lost his temper towards me on our very first meeting with the two OCRC investigators cause he said I was talking to much. Absolutely showed me zero respect as a client that day on and forward. I've asked for my money back and he replies with the usual excuses of how he did a professional job making sure my rights were not violated and blah, blah, blah. I wish I had never retained this lawyer. I had to beg and plead with his paralegal Leisyl anytime that I wanted to get a call from him and it got old fast. They knew I had to sell my bed, my furniture and more after I lost my job to survive and they acted like they could care a less. This lawyer showed zero compassion and zero respect towards me. Save your money and hire an attorney who doesn't wait till a year or more into your case to tell you that he will charge a down payment of ten grand to file a lawsuit for you and that it may be a three year fight that will cost 40 or 50 grand. He could have told me that in the begging when he charged me 2,000 to file a charge I could have filed for free. Yes he left all that part out the first year that I was dealing with him. I wish I NEVER RETAINED THAT LAWYER. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

They don't do what they're supposed to or do what their asked of (even though I literally paid him to help with probate court), they never call me back, and obviously don't care about me even though they already got paid. This man went to court and turned on my brothers and I like a savage wolf. He's also unprofessional when he finally called back a sibling and called my family names. I do not recommend this man or their team who can't simply fill paperwork out in a timely manner. They claim I wasn't their client but I paid them. So how does that work? They also lied in court stating they sent out letters claiming people were told they were supposed to go to court but the majority of people didn't get the letter or the postage stamp was dated after the court date.
