If you want quality work, excellent communication, and ease of mind, hire Build Pros. We originally wanted to have our microwave vented out (rather than circulating air and grease in the kitchen) and add a second banister to the stairs to the basement to make them more safe for our growing toddler. We were also considering having our spare basement bathroom remodeled. The bathroom really wasn't very functional because it was built in pieces (so the gross tiny stall shower wasn't even in the bathroom). That was a big job, and we wanted to get a quote for all three pieces. The first two jobs were too small on their own, so we hired Build Pros for all three. They were amazing to work with, and the work they did was the highest of quality. The team was extremely communicative, and we always knew when they were coming, what they were doing next, and what to expect. Their spreadsheet system made it really easy for everyone to keep track of what we had selected, costs, etc. They helped us a ton with design decisions, made recommendations when appropriate, and made sure we were happy with absolutely everything before moving forward. Our house stayed unbelievably clean, given the level of work they were doing, throughout the process. Mike and Rouben were fantastic at reimagining the layout of our bathroom, taking all of our priorities into consideration. John, their carpenter, is a master. We went way over budget, but a lot of that was my fault. I wanted a bathroom that was functional, but the more we talked and designed, the more I realized we actually could get a really *nice* bathroom that wasn't just functional, but high end. They did a bunch of other random things in the area too. We just were so happy with their work, and they were already there, so we asked them to fit in a few small things and they were awesome in getting those done too (adding a couple outlets in the adjacent home gym, replacing our outdoor water spigots, etc.). We are extremely happy with the final products. We even had a water problem shortly after they finished. They fixed it swiftly with no charge. It might have been a part issue or a labor issue, and so in the beginning it was unclear whether we were going to have to pay for repairs right away. I would have been very disappointed if they had charged us, and have all the more confidence in them since they fixed it and stood by the work and warranty. The only real negative was that sometimes when we had to make a decision, and the team gave us a quick "off the cuff" estimate about how much a few different options would cost, the estimate was really a fair amount lower than estimated. That contributed to some of our cost increase, but in the end I think we would have made the same decisions regardless. We're extremely happy with the final products. We even hired them again and they're starting work at my mother-in-laws house this week! I'm already dreaming of putting an addition on our house in the future, and we will hire them absolutely if/when we do this.

At the last minute I found BuildPROS and because of their excellent reviews, gave them a call. Rouben is a contractor that actually returned calls and texts throughout the process. The team was efficient, extremely neat and pricing was very transparent. He gave me some great ideas as we were making our selections and kept in touch throughout the process. Dan did the majority of the work and was very neat and clean and trustworthy. We are very pleased with the final result and I would use BuildPROS again in the future.

I purchased a Pellet Stove from the Stove Shop on Frederickson Farms. This business came highly…read morerecommended by several friends. My first trip to the shop was to do just that, shop for a pellet stove. The brand which is sold here "Harmond " is top of the line. I met the sales person, a really nice guy an he was able to answer all my questions. My second trip was to make the purchase and I met with the same man from my initial visit. Here is where customer service begins to crumble like my hopes of being millionaire. The salesman asked for my exhaust pipe dimensions. Of course I wrote them down but forgot to take them with me. I called the next day with the dimensions and was told my stove will be delivered in three weeks. No problem at all. Three weeks to the day my stove is being delivered early in the morning. Here are some numbers for the purchase. Stove $4000. Delivery $250. Hearth Stone $300. In the end I opted to install the stove myself and save $650. On the morning of delivery I am met by an other than pleasant young man, who quickly lets me know he will not be installing the purchased unit. I agree with him and he asks if I want the stove in my garage. After telling him it will be delivered into my living room as was the agreement made at the time of sale, he again advised me with an even stronger tone, he will not be installing the unit. Now that I totally understand, he will not be installing, I am ok since I didn't want him to install but he still isn't getting it. In typical juvenile fashion there is a lot of huffing and puffing while my stove is being brought into my first floor living room approximately 25ft from the delivery truck. Now we are at the, "sign for your delivery phase" and I ask where the exhaust pipes are. Guess what I am told? You got it! He tells me for the third time "I am not installing this!" As puffs of steam start to push from my ears I am also very confused. So I don't get the pipes unless you install the stove? WHERE ARE THE PIPES? Guess what? The delivery guy tells me I never bought the pipes and I should call the office. I called the office and told them how much I hated the service provided. I went on to tell them the should be grateful for customers during these economic times and maybe treat them better. I was offered an apology and to have my pipes delivered. I chose to go to another Harmond Dealer in Warwick to finish this project. I would advise to stay away from Frederickson Farms for any and all business.

I purchased a new Harman P61 pellet stove 4 months ago for $5000 and it was broken from day one…read more The installers noticed and did nothing to fix it either. They said they did not have time to look at it, but they would tell the owner, Howie. I waited for weeks, so I guess they never told the owner or the owner forgot to call me back. The stove was under warranty, so I called to schedule a service visit. The tech that came out told me the stove I bought was defective and he could not fix it. He left my house completely unfixed and then informed me I had to pay $85 for a service charge...while the stove was under warranty. I called this store back to have another technician come out because the first one could not fix it. They informed me I would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $85 to have a new tech come out to have a look. I could not believe that they would charge me an additional service charge for something their first tech could not fix. They would not budge from this and were very rude to me over the phone. Because of this I have taken my business elsewhere and hope this review helps others with their awareness of Frederickson Farm's service.
