I've been here three times, first was to get my brakes changed. They never stopped squeaking after getting the new brakes. I paid an additional $100 to have the rotors resurfaced, for the problem not to be resolved at all. So I got "premium brakes" so have the most annoying brakes I've ever had, the employee didn't care and said "yep sometimes brakes just squeak even if they're new" I've been getting vehicles serviced for 15 years and never in my life heard that or had this issue. The people who work here are SO rude and don't care at all. I went back to check the brakes squeaking and another tire issue I was having, had an apt at 9, I was there at 8:50, they didn't even bring my car in after an HOUR AND A HALF LATER! I finally just said screw it and I'll go somewhere else. When I asked for my keys back, no apology or explanation for the ridiculous wait or anything. I dropped my car off to get brakes done. They called me back and not only did they say I needed new brakes but was told I needed new rotors, and new calipers. They quoted me at $1200. I asked for an explanation on how they determined that I would need all these new things and it just did not add up. They told me since the caliper was painted, the heat is messing with the piston causing it to stick....Luckily for me, I grew up wrenching on cars, so I told them I would just do it myself. I told myself, when I did my brakes if they were correct I would give Brakes Plus a 5 star rating but if I couldn't find anything wrong I would rate them bad. So here I am, the car only needed new brakes. It did not need new calipers nor did it need a new rotor. To me this is a dishonest business trying to take people that don't know about vehicles to the cleaners. After parts I spent about $50 dollars and two hours of my time. If you take your vehicle here, make sure you do your due diligence and maybe get a second opinion on what they say they need to do. They seriously tried to be slick and get me. read more

Recently had my front brakes replaced on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler with their "Premium" brake pads and after a month of driving with them they are squeaking when coming to a stop. The break pads that come from factory are definitely better quality! I can definitely feel the difference in breaking distance and quality of the pads. Called to check on my vehicle that they were servicing and talked to Chris on the phone, was told he was going to check on my car. Proceeded to put me on hold for 15 minutes and then asked what vehicle I was calling about. I repeated the details and then asked why such a long hold? He came back at me being very short and basically saying "look I'm trying to get you the info you need" (then what have you been doing for the last 15 minutes and why do you need the vehicle info again). When he picked the phone back up I asked for a manager to which he told me he was one, then again put me on hold after I asked for a corporate number. The next person that picked up was Denice asking what I was calling about. I explained the situation and that I wanted the corporate number to alert them of the rude behavior. He explained they were short staffed and refused to provide the corporate contact information. He said they could deal with the issue within the store. There was no apology from them or any semblance of any responsibility. I have worked closely with brakes plus before at a previous job and never had a complaint but this location was very rude. This place is a scam of a business, took my daughters car to get an alignment and they came back with an estimate of $1,000 for tie rods and a wheel bearing. Turns out the tie rods and the wheel bearing were just fine. The wheel bearing was brand new I had just gotten replaced. Save yourselves the headache and don't take your vehicles there. Getting just my oil changed I was given a $1717.83 quote for replacing shocks and struts on my 2019 Toyota 4Runner (when only one shock was leaking). I passed on the service to figure out exactly what needs to be done. It's questionable to me if the struts need to be replaced but after reviewing the quote, Brakes Plus was overcharging on cheap Monroe shocks and struts by over $1,000. I looked up the exact part numbers in the Brakes Plus quote with several sources online and was "shocked". A reasonable parts markup is customary of course but the Brakes Plus quote was way over the top, especially for cheap parts. I just ordered much superior aftermarket Fox shocks for $322.08. The cheap Monroe shocks from Brakes Plus would have been $473.44. The cheap Monroe struts were marked up $428.09 each. Total rip-off on parts at Brakes Plus would have been around $1,007.54. In fairness, the labor estimates were reasonable. Buyer beware! read more

Had an appointment at 10am my car wasn't touched until 11:30 am I left got a phone call at 1pm they were starting on my brakes and it would only take a couple hours (FOR REAR BRAKES) came at 4pm car still not done and they said it'll be another 40 minutes as they put another cars alignment priority over mines and it ran longer than expected. My appointment was for 10 am, I arrived at 9:45 am and it wasn't until 10:40 AFTER I asked them what's going on with my car and why it was still parked where I left it because I was going to be late for work that the receptionist when in and checked and then finally came for my car, just to get the job done in less than 15mins (mind you when I called prior to my appointment to see how long the alignment would take they said 1hr - 1h30). I am mixed on this review. I have been here twice in the last month. The first time they did an alignment on my car. I dropped it off, walked over to a local restaurant for lunch, and it was ready when I was done (within an hour). It was really good. Right now I am sitting in the waiting area. I brought it back to have the alignment looked at again. After a long road trip it was pulling again. It was still under warranty, so I thought I would have it checked again. I made an appointment and showed up at the designated time. Again, I dropped it off and walked over to the same restaurant for a bite to eat. I returned an hour later and saw my car in the same spot. I was told it would be the next car in. I commented that I thought since I made an appointment I would be ahead of walk ins. I received an under-the-breath apology. Do not trust this location. I went in for new brakes, knowing that I definitely rode them past their limit. When I got the quote, I bout lost it with what they were quoting. They recommended 4 new rotors, and a caliper and quoted almost $1000. Knowing that I was afraid to drive my car with the brakes as they were, they used fear to try and force me into doing the repair with them before moving my car again. Thankfully, my brother recommended I call around to see what other pricing I could find. Not only did I find everywhere around DRASTICALLY cheaper, they all advised that it didn't make sense that I would need all new rotors and a caliper given the car and time between symptoms presenting and when I took it in. Ended up asking our in-house mechanic at work if he knew how to replace the stuff and he said of course and did it for me. Not only did I absolutely not need the caliper (none the things Brakes Plus said about the caliper were able to be replicated), but I also only needed 1 rotor. Had they been honest with me and quoted appropriately, I wouldn't have hesitated to get it done there, but to falsify testing and results in order to rack up a bill just because I don't know anything about brakes? That's a pretty terrible business practice. How about you stick to upwelling quality of products, not just making things look bad on paper to scare someone into buying something because you lack any true selling or business skill. I have used brakes plus many times for different vehicles over the years.. Always good and responsive. Had Associate take my car in July 11, 2022, after trying a previous day. She insisted they put my name on the invoice, tie rods, A/C service, Alignment. Said would be a couple hours. Was ALL DAY. She had to sit and wait, could have done something else. No one got out for less than $600 all day. When done they refused to put invoice in my name, then manager was obnoxious to my associate about the request as his new employee (2 months on job) didn't know, and she needs to leave, or is not welcome (to that effect!). Unbelievable. She refused to return for A/C leak detection because of their hostility. They did take my payment card over the phone. Nice. read more

This place makes Wal-Mart's customer service look like Disneyland!! Discount Tires reported that the alignment on our front wheels were off, so we decided to visit this place because it was in a convenient location. Eventually, had to make three visits here for them to finally try to make us purchase $900 worth of services that was deemed unnecessary by Stan's Alignment! The first time we visited this place, they said they were closing, so we should return anytime Monday morning, "appointment unnecessary." Went at 9:00am Monday, was basically told to pound sand, unless we had a six hour window, so we made an appointment for Tuesday morning. When we arrived Tuesday morning for the $58 alignment, we were told that they would not do our alignment unless we purchased an invoice of services they said was required ($900)! Overall, they were quite belittling and rude from all the visits. Lesson learned, would like to refer business elsewhere! I will never be coming back here. I had an appointment at 1 o clock to have 2 studs being put on my car. I didn't end up leaving till 4 that day. I asked many times if it was done and I could see it just sitting there with no one around. Finally the last time I asked, the guy mentioned oh yeah he's finishing up and then I saw the tech go back and finish it. When the tech pulled my car out , he reved it and stepped on it and I knew it was my car since I have a loud exhaust. If I could choose less than 1 star, I would. I took my vehicle in for an alignment. Instead they decided to loosen up several bolts on my vehicle. Those bolts caused over $1,000 worth of damage. When I ask them to cover the cost of repairs they declined and asked me never to return to their stores. Who would have thought that an alignment would cost so much money? The best part was that some of the bolts that they had removed were installed with Loctite, which means they will not back out.
