I originally took my truck to Tire Works for a front-end alignment. With just a quick visual inspection I was told I needed a ball-joint replaced. I knew then Tire Works was scamming me and wanting me to buy parts I did not need. I drove away quickly. I then took my truck to Brake Masters. They did a complete computerized front-end alignment and I DID NOT need any ball-joints. Quality control is the key to great service and they lacked it when they worked on my car said it was done took my money and off we drove as soon as we left we noticed a noise a low rumble as I pressed the gas pedal we had to do an errand but called and brought it back they said after I took one of the reps for a listen yep that's a noise then they looked at it and said it was my blower motor so I believe them and they said they would have to order it and it should be there in two days so I drove car home then I decided to open hood and also crawl under neath to inspect what I found was pour quality control workmen ship the fan shroud wasn't put back correctly there were hoses to the radiator not clamped correctly the air cleaner wasn't bolted tight then I crawled under to check ac compressor and found that all the bolts were loose and one was missing I called brake masters and let them know they said bring it back I said you've done enough I'll fix it I did ask for some labor reimbursement they will never see any of my vehicles again and anyone I know won't bring there car to break masters and I know how to spell brake but they are breaking masters read more

Had 1400. In maintenance done which included new rear shocks...got 200 miles away and rear shock started coming apart... Bolts stripped and not inserted completely... Had to get another repair shop to fix the error of brake master.. disappointed in the very shoddy service. Had to get towed before I wrecked or caused another wreck caused me two extra days on my trip at Christmas time. At least break Master did admit their fault and refund for the shocks... Will never never return to brake master again... I'm not even sure that the other work that they did was done or done right. read more

Took my Tahoe in for a radiator and ac compressor when job was done had a noise complaint and I looked under the hood found hoes with th clamps not in proper place push pins missing and it was way over priced I don't mind paying for excellent service but bullshit service no way bill and rob you shot your load no more and will not be sending any one your way read more

I took my car here for an oil change and discovered a sizable leak on my driveway. After taking it back to them they suggested that I replaced my oil pan due to the cars age and said they can repair it for me for $550. After refusing the service and later going under my car myself with a flashlight I found that they had used silicone to hold my drain plug in place to keep it from leaking all of its oil. After consulting a few mechanic friends, they advised me that oil pans and drain plugs don't simply go bad due to "age" and it is likely that they cross threaded the drain bolt and attempted to upsell the service of fixing it and expecting me to pay for it. Beware of shady and unethical shops like this that will hold the customer responsible for the mistakes they and their employees make without taking any sort of accountability for their actions. read more

Brake Masters in Bullhead did a tire rotation on my pickup on Sat. On Monday I needed to remove the drivers side front wheel to do other work. My socket wouldn't go on the lug nuts on that wheel. The socket fit the nuts on the other 3 wheels. I went back to Brake Masters , they looked at it and their socket fit but it was really tight and the mechanic had to work to get the socket off. They told me that my lug nut had swollen and that was why my craftsman socket wouldn't fit and they weren't responsible. Their price at O'Reilly for a new set of nuts was $86+ . I stopped at O'Reilly on the way home and paid $32+. I will never use another Brake Master again. read more

So took my 2007 in for front brake special 99.00 when he called said it needed rotors as well added another 400 to the 99 plus making it over 500 dollars for front brakes only maybe I'm out of touch seemed excessive to me...also asked for transmission oil special they had and they had no fittings for my car oil chance special 24.95 which ended up the only thing they done ended up.45.25 20 dollars over the original price 10.dollars a quart for 2 added quarts of oil wouldn't go back wouldnt or recommend them for anything! read more

Made a appointment for 7:30am to have my brakes done. Was the second in line. So I dropped it off. They called at 9:10 am and left a message. Called back at 9:30am to ok to fix all brakes for $387.59. Called back to see if car is done at 11:00 am and they say car won't be done till 2pm. Really I cannot believe you will have my car for 7 hours just to do brakes and I made an appointment. They are waiting for the bay area. Next time I will call another mechanic to do my car. The wait time will be less. Last time I was there was in 9/2018 and they had my car 4 hours and I waited in the lobby. Don't recommend this place if you have things to do. read more

BrakeMasters? More like SCAM-MASTERS! I went in for an oil change on my 16 versa, mind you I have always kept up on maintenance on my car. I'm not your typical female and not knowing anything about cars. Tell me why the guys thought they could be slick and tell me I needed new shocks and struts and strut rods? Like I don't drive a truck and if my struts and shocks were done then I'm pretty sure my car would be bouncing off the road. This is the the LAST TIME I go to this place. OH READY FOR THE KICKER? They called me the next day to ask about how my service went and as I was calling them out about trying to pull a fast one on me they hung up! My car door on the back driver side in the back would not stay closed while driving. I called AAA they came out and tried to fix it, However, The AAA Rep informed me that the problem was the Actuator/ Latch assembly it needed to be replaced. I came home and called Brake Masters Spoke with Jonathan .  Jonathan told us to bring it tomorrow and they would take a look at it. I told Jonathan what the problem was he said ok bring it in. I took my car in the next day, Jonathan was there, He research the part needed, the price it would cost and how much they would charge me for labor to install the part and the complete price for the repair. I agreed to the amount and paid for the service and went back to work. Once the job was completed, They called me and let me know, Job was finished, Your Vehicle is ready for pick up. No problems. great Service. However, Today, The Same thing happened, This time it is the driver side in the front, I had AAA come look at it again just to be on the safe side. they could not fix it and told me the same thing. It is the Actuator/ latch Assembly  on the front driver side door after replacing the back door latch. I did not call this time, I just drove down to Brake Maters. What a Suprise, The Rep name George, Or Manager George, Ask How could he help me, I explain the issue, Also informed him i was here last year on 1-05-21 with the same issue, This time it is a different Door, Right away he replied, Well, They where not doing business right around here back then so i do not care what they told you. I thought to myself, I never said they told me anything first of all, What is he talking about. George proceeded to talk about the former employees to me while he looked for the part needed for the repair. As George is looking in his system for the part, He informs me, I can not find the part at a local place and he would have to order the part, And it would take several days to get there. I informed George that i can get the part if needed, We Actually bought all the Actuator for all 4 doors back when the first one broke or went bad. George then stated, Well, We are going to charge you 100.00 dollars for a Diagnostics test off top, That 100.00  can not be used or to go toward the repair price either, Just basically 100.00 fee for bringing your car in. Then Stated, When you take your car to the chevy dealer they charge you a Diagnostics fee too. Well, I have to inform you George, This is not a chevy dealer, far from it, And you do not work for Chevy, But brake Masters.  Then , George proceeded to add another 300.00 dollars to the price that i paid the last time for the exact same service. Bringing the total amount to 675.07    The same repair cost only 357.07 on 1-05-21 Emma M. is right. Scam -Masters is the new name we gave them for this location. I took two cars in to get a FE alignment and was told on both vehicles they need tie rod ends etc. What was amazing is my one vehicle had a new front end done a year ago. Took said vehicles to another place in town and lo and behold they did the alignment and there were NO ISSUES. They try to upsell you and are not honest at all.. We took our one axle 14' flatbed trailer to another place that I thought could grease the bearings and fix a seal that was leaking some grease. We were told about 3 weeks. Honestly like having my dad or uncle change my oil. Super nice guys that show you what's wrong instead telling you, ya need a bunch of new parts changed that you honestly don't need to be changed for a while. I was told last time I got my oil checked I needed new breaks, they saved me 150$+ by just looking at them. They showed me the breaks which were fine and changed my oil. Jaimie and the mechanics there were great and I went there for years. They weren't cheap, but they did good work and I didn't mind paying a little more for excellence. But Jaimie went to Phoenix and all the mechanics changed soon after. Now the place is just another scam shop. I went in for air conditioning service and an oil change and they also charged me for a brake fluid flush that they didn't do, and an injector tuneup that they didn't do. I'm reporting them to the BBB and Arizona Consumer Protection. Hopefully this scam shop will be boarded up soon. read more
