That's when I reached out for help and thankfully found Dr Levrini. Not only was she able to help me but she really helped my whole family. The tricks and tools I have learned have been a benefit to my whole family. She is very understanding, helpful, knowledgeable and non-judgmental. She helped me to figure out why things can be harder for me, understand my new diagnosis of ADHD, the strengths and weaknesses and probably most importantly learn to accept my ADHD and work with it. So many things seem to make sense to me now. After seeing Dr Levrini for a few months I decided I would try medication too. The medications is helping but I am really glad I worked with Dr Levrini first. I don't think the medication I am taking would be as effective if I would have started with meds, not coaching. I am feeling great these days. I needed to understand my brain and why I am the way I am and why I do the things I do. I needed a coach to help me through this journey and diagnosis. Both of my daughters attended the summer camp this summer (ages 9 & 5). They have really enjoyed…read moretheir time there. They tell me they get to do archery and ride the horses, explore the woods, go swimming in the lake and pool, and they play lots of games everyday. Every Friday they have an award ceremony, and my kids have gotten an award almost each time. My kids can't keep secrets, so anything bad happening or something they don't feel comfortable with, they tell me and it's been nothing but good things everyday. I make a point to ask them what they've done all day and what they've eaten. They get a healthy breakfast and lunch, plus you can get a sweet snack from the 'store' they have, that parents pay for each week ($5 a week per child, 0.50 for each item, they can get store twice a day). It's hot here in FL, so they urge parents to pack the kids a water bottle that they can refill as many times as needed and to pack them sunblock and bug spray. In my opinion, as long as you pack your child what they need, they shouldn't be suffering. I haven't had any issues with the counselors. My ONLY concern is that when I went to pick up my 5 year old, she was in the pre-school area at that time, they had just gotten back from swimming, and other 5 year old boys were changing back into their clothes in the same room as the girls.

They do not behave as educators should be, they are just concerned about the school rate and nothing about human development. My daughter speaks two languages and the lack of ability from school surprised me since I am in US since 2020 and 3rd grade is the first with performance at minimum 70% as grade to be approved. The school offered an intervention program 10 minutes 3 times a week. Same than nothing and missing 2 months to end up the year. A lot of pressure. Lucky me I had enrolled my daughter into Kumon in January. Ms. Kasthuri Sriram worked hard with my daughter and she jumped from level 1 in Fast test to level 4. Fantastic job!

She came home…read moreeveryday talking to me about how the child distracted her and was being obnoxious purposely. Kumon did not take the proper steps to handle the situation. The child distracted my daughter for the rest of the year, unbelievable.
