    I recently got knotless box braids and I am in love with them. She did an amazing job. I'm definitely going to be getting them again!

    I went here for the first time after some work colleagues recommended Maria for blonde highlights…read more I brought pictures and stressed the fact I DID NOT want my hair yellow/golden blonde ( I personally do not wear it well and my colleagues have a gorgeous icy/silver that I thought she would be capable of doing on me as well ). I asked for ashy/silver blonde and left with 5 different color blondes in my hair, none of which matched what I asked for as a few pieces were even orange. PRIOR to even making my appointment, I told Maria my hair takes about 3 1/2 hours because I wanted to make sure the time allotted was adequate. My hair was done in two hours ( including cut and blowdry) and she even stated " next time we can go more silver/ashy". Pretty sure she knew the color was off immediately, but I personally can never tell with the salon lighting. That comment alone made me feel uneasy and I had a feeling it was going to be wrong. After looking in several different lightings and realizing how horrible my hair looked, I returned a few days later ( when my work schedule allowed) and Larry did a glaze for me. Unfortunately, but not to his surprise, the glaze did not help because the foil did not lift my hair where it needed to be to create the ashy blonde desired. I have been getting my hair highlighted since I am 13 years old and have had icy/silver before ( my base is also dirty blonde and warm so if done correctly, should be easily achieved by a professional). I called back to come in to get my hair re foiled as it was nowhere near what I asked for, but I think Larry already knew that. I was extremely embarrassed and unhappy with my hair and didn't even want to wear it down for the next several days . When I called back I was told I would need to pay for some of the service as "communication" was off the first time and it was going to be a lot of work. I was very direct and communicated several times that I DID NOT want my hair yellow/gold and provided photos prior to my first service. I am not sure how much clearer I could have possibly been. Communication on my end was NOT off and I felt like Larry was putting the blame on me for Maria's poor performance that day. To ask me to repay for what I already paid for is poor customer service in my opinion. It should have been done right the first time and none of us would have been in this situation, especially me. He saw my hair and knew it was nowhere near what I asked for so to place the blame on me was extremely uncalled for and his frustration was entirely misplaced. It was not my lack of communication that caused this outcome and I was very taken back and offended that it was portrayed in this way. After being totally disgusted by the outcome and then being told I had to pay for repairs, I cancelled that appointment. Not even ONE time did Maria reach out and apologize or try and make it right. It was all put on me to try and figure it out if I WANTED it fixed. You have to be kidding me! This is not how my situation should have been handled and quite honestly the salon should be ashamed of themselves for handling it in this manner. That's bad business. Her statement alone showed she knew the color was off after she blew my hair out, so accountability for her mistake would have been much appreciated. I felt my situation wasn't handled correctly at all as I was very open and honest about what I wanted. If Maria needed clarification, which I find hard to believe, then she should have asked. Although I wasn't charged for my glaze, I did leave a tip on the counter for Larry and the shampoo girl ( sorry I forgot her name) because I felt that was the right thing to do. However, the right thing for them to do for ME would have been to refoil my hair, FREE OF ANY CHARGES, if that's what was needed to achieve the DESIRED OUTCOME. My hair has never taken two hours to complete so I should have known something was wrong then. I believe the photos speak for themself so do with it what you will. The salon is adorable and the cut and blow out were nice, but the color is embarrassing and their approach to make it right was subpar to say the least. How does a stylist not even reach out to an unhappy client?! That alone just blows my mind.

    Sara & Odete have won my business for life!…read more I came here recently for a root touch-up and bayalage. Making the appointment was easy - I texted with Sara to schedule but you can also schedule online. When I showed up for my appointment I was told Sara's car had broken down therefore she was running very late. Instead of turning me away and telling me to reschedule completely, Odete swept into action and did my roots. We had a tough time finding a color match (since my previous color was done at a different salon) but she went above and beyond to perfectly match and she did! Sara ended up making it into work right before my rinse therefore we decided to reschedule the bayalage. I came back the following week and everyone remembered me by name (even Oksana the nail lady)! Sara meticulously did my bayalage and made sure I was comfortable as I sat for 3 hours to get the perfect highlights put into my hair. Everything turned out perfectly and the blowout was great, as well. I cannot wait to come back here for touch-ups and color going forward.

    I hired Sara to do my hair for my wedding day. I went in for a trial, showed her a couple of…read morepictures and nailed it on the first try. A week before my wedding I had a complication with my makeup artist, so I decided the easiest and best thing would be to just have Sara do my makeup since she was going to be there anyway. I saw some pictures of her work, but I wasn't able to fit in a trial with her beforehand. She came on my wedding day and absolutely NAILED my hair and makeup. I showed her a few photos of sample makeup, and she created a unique look for me that I've never seen on anyone and and completed complimented my whole look and personality. I loved my makeup so much I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! She used airbrush makeup on me(she even airbrushed my arms and bank) and it was all just so flawless! I would absolutely recommend Sara to anyone! She is a dreaming magician with hair and makeup!!!!!

    The workers and the hair stylist i go to are wonderful, but management doesn't know how to treat…read morelong time customers. As I was entering the parking lot for my ON-TIME appointment, a young woman, Olivia from Rosa Blu called me, stating that the prior customer just arrived and asked that I push back my ON-TIME appointment by 45 minutes. It appears the manager made the young woman do her dirty work. Instead of telling the LATE customer that they had to wait, they made me push my appointment back. I wound up booking an appointment two days later and when I walked in, the manager, while rolling her eyes, in a non convincing manner says, "OH, sorry about the other day" NO REMORSE WHATSOEVER. Didn't even offer to perhaps give me a discount for the haircut. It's just shrug the shoulders and too bad Joe. This type of behavior is what turns customers away. It's not the first time this has happened. The bottom line.... they catered to the more expensive LATE client instead of the ON-TIME standard Men's haircut. The manager needs to take a Customer Service course and also not have her young staff members do her dirty work. A 2 grade is extremely generous. Will I go back..... I truly don't think so, with all do respect to the woman who cuts my hair.
