However, in December 2023, she colored my hair and it was AWFUL. She said in a text message to me that she takes responsibility, but when I started to discuss the problem she became very defensive. I thought taking responsibility meant making amends. This did not mean that to her. When I went back for service, she charged me the full amount. I paid it because I did not want to lose my temper and create a scene. I texted her a couple of days later to discuss my concerns and she said in the text she took full responsibility. Today, I texted pictures of my hair and sent her a picture of my hair before this treatment. I told her in the text the least she could do was refund my money for the color since she agreed it was a mess. She said she credited my credit card and would send the money for the color service when I got back to her with the receipt. I had appointments scheduled for the rest of the month so that I could get it treated to restore the health of my hair. She canceled all appointments, Unfortunately, I will have to sue her. You never know someone's true character until there is a problem. I am saddened the relationship ended this way. I did not see this coming.

She is professional, knowledgeable about hair care, clean, reasonably priced and FAST! I have a head full of hair and my wash and set appointments usually range from 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes. I am not caught up in fancy salons and posh ammenities like wine and fruit that usually accompany and 2-3 hour salon visit. Give me quick, fast and healthy hair any day. If you are looking for a fancy hair salon with a receptionist, chandeliers and an upscale atmosphere, this is not your place. But if you want a wonderful stylist that knows about hair care, is on time and professional this is the place for you. I look forward to coming to Tee for many years to come. Seems like the customers all know each other and everyone was just so nice. Services were not rushed and overall exactly what I expected for my tender headed child. Shug has done my hair at her home (which is nice BTW..NOT in the hood of College Park..besides she's in Riverdale .. pay attention to where you are ) and at her shop. I have NEVER left with a bad style. Her bobs are ALWAYS ON POINT. Her healthy quickweaves wont leave you bald and edgeless as NO GLUE ever touches your hair.......AND they actually LAST more than 2-3 weeks...and yes ..she is licensed. she is efficient and never double book. Other clients have complained of her cutting too much of their natural hair, (She is bald fyi)So she only knows how to glue tracks (quick weave). She knows nothing else. Your sew in will fall apart in weeks, I kept my purse clutched tight the entire time I was there. She is just not ready to be a stylist , it is ILLEGAL for a reason for UNLICENSED people to perform services on others . You can't attempt to run a "Pseudo Business" and not even get your legalities handled first (IE A LICENSE ) Save your self the headache I had to pay a new stylist to fix her work.
