However, this doctor referred me to another DO for my scoliosis. Not only that but I always feel rushed when I see her, she asks me to repeat my medical and family history at each visit, which makes me wonder whether she's listening. When I try to explain symptoms, she puts words in my mouth and gaslights me ("that's not what's happening" messaging). Basically, this doctor exemplifies all the reasons people distrust the western medical system. Will be looking for a new practitioner.

Dr. Stemp once again took her time to listen to my complete list of worries I had for each of my children, going over each growth chart with me, and still connecting warmly with each of my kids- who would have loved nothing better than to chat all day with her - during a busy afternoon after school. This location is in a great spot, with plenty of overflow parking at La Cigale, and a clean and bright waiting room. So many awesome spots to stop at afterwards for a 'sorry for that shot' treat for my kids and 'please calm my nerves' tea for this mom. Thank you!

Their incompetence lead to an ER where the doctor stated it was not an ER case and could have been handled by a pediatrician. So 4 weeks with a poor sick child, numerous office visits, and an ER visit ($800 in co-pays later) the ER prescribed a 5 day course of antibiotics that had her better in 3 days.
