Miserable. Didn't catch her name, but the phlebotomist working on me had terrible bedside manner and clearly didn't care. I know the rubber strap used to find veins is meant to be tight, but she kept yanking on only one side which resulted in my skin being pinched and stretched that it folded in on itself. This place, terrible. In the beginning everything was fine but then once it was finally time for me to go back. The lady who was STICKING A NEEDLE in me was using bad language. Long story short my blood did not want to give so they tried to give it back to me but it wasn't working, so once she took out the needle, blood literally Gushed everywhere and I had it all over me and the floor. Terribly run, makes McDonald's look like Seal Team Six. Between the 8-donation bonus dropping every month, the poorly calibrated machines (BPL said my protein was 7.8 and then the lab results said it was 5.8, same day), bad sticks that have to be redone, and the general sense that only a couple people there have a clue what's going on, today was the last straw. I had been deferred for low protein, which is fine. It happens to frequent, long term donors. I've been waiting over two weeks to hear back from them. Finally went there today to see what the heck is going on and they've had my results, but the "doctor" just never updated the system to say I could donate again and, lo and behold, he didn't show up for work today, so they said I could come back tomorrow and maybe it would get fixed. CSL Plasma may be a little further, but I'm switching back to them. An extra 10 minutes of driving is worth not having to deal with BPL. read more

This place is awesome. I've been here three times and the ppl already know who I am. The first time I donated, I got really nauseous. Two employees and the medical manager was there to make sure I was ok. I was so embarrassed but they made me feel it was normal. They gave me pointers for my next donation so the sickness wouldn't happen again. Sure enough, the second and third time went really well. I like how fast they put money on the prepaid card. Awesome place and the plasma goes for a good cause. read more
