At the back it felt like there was a wall of coffee machines. I should have taken a photo, probably 5 or 6 machines all whirring away with a big crowds all busily grabbing their cappuccinos and lattes. I guess being a petrol station on a long highway means that everyone just needs a pick me up! The coffee was standard machine made, but it was an experience!

But times have changed & country cafes are stepping up with quality food and coffee. The nice girl who made my coffee didn't bat an eyelid ay my request for a soy piccolo! They have a pretty decent looking selection of burgers, nice home made-y type pastries, and the pie that passed me by looked pretty great! The menu ain't veg friendly but the presence of soy milk makes me think they'd be adaptable. This is a hangout for the hundreds of recreational motorcyclists that clearly hit the gorgeous windy roads around here in pleasant weekend weather. Fun.
