The new owners run a tight ship - the store was well stocked and clean. The lady at the fruit stand is always ready to hand out samples of grapefruit, mangoes, and Plant City strawberries. The chicken gizzards alone would be a good reason to stop - the portions are generous and they are perfectly seasoned and fried. You won't find anything fancy here. A quick stop in the middle of nowhere. It was a typical BP. Bathrooms were decent. this is the back road to many places so the patrons are eclectic. Don't let a biker or a trucker make you feel uneasy. They are there for a reason just like you are. We would stop in again as it is a decent pit stop. read more

The most disgusting gas station we have ever been to!!! The bathrooms are covered in urine, I mean COVERED!!! It's like this place has never ever ever been cleaned in its entire existence. We only stopped here bc pilot is being remodeled and gosh we can't wait for it to be rebuilt bc this place will run themselves out of business. What a scam... charged me $4.69 a gallon. I was on a road tip and had to pee and get gas. Sarted pump and ran in to use the rest room. Came out to find the total was $75 for 15.9 gallons. Avoid the place like covid cause they pray on the weak. Lesson learned. read more

As we walk in for a pit stop , we immediately decided to walk out after the guy on duty I asked his name "Rob" screamed at me to walk my animal out of the mart. I replied he is a service animal sir, while behind the register servicing another patron he screams even louder Maaamm you need to walk that dog on out of here,.. As I walk closer with his service dog tag in hand & an ADA card for people who do not know about the laws on these animals . Did he even apologize , no he didn't . There is nothing special about this gas station. However, I will say that I felt uncomfortable there because there were a lot of leather wearing bikers and even though they didn't bother us, I was still a little uneasy. Also, the tiny strip of road that leads to the BP was awful. I literally almost had a car collision, possible two. The drivers drive too fast on that little strip. There only one lane in either direction and not street light or stop sign to regulate the traffic. So you basically have a bunch of cars driving really fast along this little road and it's very scary to merge back onto the road when you're trying to leave because you think you're going to have a car accident. And it seems to be never ending so you have to basically jump onto the road whenever you get a small window of opportunity and a small window is all you'll get. I've only been there the once, so maybe it its' like that all of the time. I certainly hope not. read more

Go to the other one next to it for gas .........Horrible profit driven independently owned establishment. Told cashier which pump, held up numer of fingers to verify. Wrong pump was activated someone got 10 bucks free gas and I didn't get my gas or money. Wrote to cooperate BP told not their problem. Still waiting for a response. The bathroom is disgusting.
