Scam by a Pemex Gas Station. We were on our way to the San…read moreJose Airport, less than 10 minutes away. We were 3 women and I was leaving 4 days before my friends. We passed a few gas stations from Cabo on the highway to the Airport. We finally decided to stop at one, which was on the other side of the highway. We made a legal U-turn and drove up to the Pemex Station. A women came over to pump the gas and as she was finishing a jovial man came by for payment. We thought he worked at the station. I handed him 500 pesos and he disappeared. The woman finished filling and asked for money again. She claimed not understanding that we had paid the man who came over for payment. I do not have the address, but when we left we made a right turn for the toll road and we were 10 minutes from the airport. We have been going to Cabo for 16 years plus and this was our first scam with Pemex. It was so fast, it was shocking!

For the convenience of last/first stop across the boarder, it's very well stocked. The price of…read morefuel isn't exorbitant, though, it's not the cheapest. But, it is the only station in the vicinity. Being that it is a truck stop nearest to a primarily commercial boarder crossing, the parking is mostly to the rear of the property beyond of the pumps & store proper. Although the store itself has snacks, pre made food, & beverages like a 7/Eleven, a Jack In The Box is also located inside the building and accessible through the store or its own separate entrance by the pumps on the non commercial side of the building. The restroom between the store & Jack In The Box, was very small for the size you would expect for a commercial tupe of boarder crossing. The employees, at the time of my visit, very friendly(smiling,cheerful), quick, & efficient. I would give this one a thumbs up for cleanliness & consideration for a repeat visit.

Energy drinks are very cold, and always good prices for them. Also all kinds of snacks, alcohol and tobacco. Have not had any troubles here at all. The people are nice, and this is a good stop. Have been going to this one for at least a dozen years, maybe more.
