Since I was old enough to realize we always went to the same place. It has changed ownership a few times over the years but it's always a great place to stop for gas or a quick necessity like a gallon of milk type deal. The folks who work here are SUPER SUPER friendly and always greet each person with a smile and I cannot think of a time i left there and the person behind the counter didn't tell me to have a good day. I like that. I'm a stickler for customer service and this Mobil is doing a darn good job. Now if only the price of gas would go down. Le Sigh!

At BP on Woodward by 6:15AM and it's $4.99/gallon, for credit card, what an unbelievable rip-off. That's extortion for you and they probably know it too. I managed to time it right, and only a couple of cars were at the pump, so I pulled right up. I didn't have any cash on me, so I swiped my debit card and filled my car up. Fifty bucks later, and I am on my way to work. My complaint and I didn't find out until later; they put a $75.00 hold on my debit card, which I thought was not cool, and it took three days before it settled for the right amount.

It's a Marathon gas station on the corner of Clark St. and Fisher Fwy., and I pass it often when getting on I-75. There's a swarm of gas stations in SW (i'm gonna guess because of the border crossing traffic), so I try to make a point of using this particular Marathon. If you're in the neighborhood and need gas, go in and buy $15 bucks worth and just see how friendly this guy is. Always good for a quick chat.
