They were supposed to call me, tell me what the problem was and get my authorization to fix the problem. They did not get my authorization, just did the work and demanded over $200 for the unauthorized repair. Then, they sent one of their "mechanics" to my employer to tell him that it was done. I told them when I dropped the vehicle off that it would be the 20th before I would be able to pick it up. Suddenly now they want a $30 a day "storage fee" that was never disclosed to me when I authorized them to diagnose the issue. Looking at other reviews I'm seeing on Google and Facebook, it looks like fraud is a way of life for them. Well, now the attorney general and BBB are involved. Hope trying to commit $200 in fraud was worth it.

To make a long story short, they've really gone out of there way on more than one occasion to help me with car issues. The workers and management here are kind, professional, and really just care about helping customers with their vehicles. The first story was earlier this year with my wife's car. We drove to church on Sunday and noticed that there was a ticking sound in the engine. Walmart was the only oil change place in town that was open, so I took it there. After looking at it for a good 45 minutes, they refused even to put oil in it. They said it was "definitely a rod knock," and "the oil filter is a cheap off brand and is leaking so we can't look at it." Anyway, I was pretty nervous after that. My wife was pretty sure the last place she got her oil changed was here at Harris, so Monday morning I called them up. I let them know the situation, and the manager came to my apartment and put oil in it for me so I didn't have to drive it, potentially dangerously. Upon looking at the filter, he said it wasn't leaking, there was just a bit of residue on it. Also, they didn't use those filters so my wife hadn't actually been there for her last oil change. Despite that, they still took care of us and helped us. It wasn't a rod knock by the way, it just needed a bit of oil. The second story happened just yesterday. I'm borrowing a family vehicle at the moment, and my family asked if I could get the oil changed while I have it. I took it in, and immediately there was a problem. The oil plug wasn't coming out. The threads were stripped from the last place my family had taken it. The worker started explaining to me that I should take it where it was serviced last because of the stripped bolt. The manager heard this, and came over to talk to me. I explained that it wasn't my vehicle, I wasn't sure where it was serviced last, and it was definitely not in town. He then took care of it himself. After working at it for a few minutes. he got the stripped bolt out, had to tap in new threads, and put in a new plug. He didn't have to do all of that, especially since they could have turned me away and avoided all responsibility. They didn't. They fixed the problem for me quickly, when they didn't need to per their policies, and for a very fair price. They really distinguish themselves from other auto service businesses I've gone to. I really appreciate the workers here and highly recommend their services!

I have been working a lot, drove my car until the oil change light came on. They try to sell me new air filters. I said, jsut do the basic oil change, I'll get it next time. Before I know it, they are saying "get it on camera so if her car breaks down on the way home, we won't be blamed? WTH? Don't upsell, threaten and and try to scare me. My car is a 2025, it's not like I'm driving a hooptie. Then the manager tries to scold me, "If you're going to have a car, you need to take care of it." I went off. I am already having a crap day, just change my oil and stop talking nonsense and trying to threaten me. I was just done. $84 for an oil change and a whole bunch of judgemental harassment. The staff here is friendly but I think there needs to be a management change these guys are running like chickens with their heads cut off almost everytime I am up there to get my oil changed.
