I've had mixed experiences here, but since this is the closest bowling alley to Fremont, I'll round up my rating. My friends and I usually come here on Thursdays for the unlimited bowling. Any other time, the prices are way too expensive. I am also not a fan of the black lighting, but only because I'm blind as a bat lol. If you're looking to improve your bowling, might want to reconsider here. This is more of an entertainment type bowling spot where the people on the lanes next to you most likely will have no bowling etiquette, the lanes are either super oily and/or not oiled enough, and your ball will probably get stuck and your game will be interrupted at some point. So if you can tolerate that, go for it. The last time we were here for unlimited bowling, the lane just shut down and the front desk guy couldn't figure out how to reset it. They ended up taking almost 30 minutes of our bowling time not being able to figure it out, then they ended up moving us to new lanes - which btw, we already spent like 3 games getting used to the previous ones and now we have to get used to these new ones?! C'monnnn...Still lame how our time was wasted and the inconvenience in the whole thing... read more

I would love to recommend to management to either have a cut-off time for unlimited bowling nights, or separate lanes dedicated to pay-per-game. My friends and I came at 8:30 p.m. to snag a lane and they told us it would be about 1-1.5 hour wait. No prob, we got drinks and food at the bar like the host told us. Fast forward to 11:30 p.m. with no lane still.....we checked in and they told us that we'd probably not be bowling that night because every lane looked held up. It's a good bait & switch--come for bowling and drinks, but just pay for all the drinks waiting for a lane. There needs to be a better system.....very much a bigger issue than the employees, who were actually were really nice. read more

Last minute bowling match with family, we were able to get 2 lanes together. We had fun playing 2 games but the price was way too much. I guess you have to come in during the specials. But it was still fun! Great ambience and electrifying atmosphere. I usually bowl at Bowlero San Jose; however, this location is outstanding. The decor is beautiful and the couches are comfortable. The lanes are well-oiled. I thought that the location would be busy since it was All You Can Bowl Night Thursday, and this alley only had 40 lanes. Yet, when my party walked in, we were set on the lane without any wait time. Really great location that brings out pro-bowlers, beginners, and most importantly, families. Would certainly go here again and be a convincing reason to move to Milpitas. read more

Long wait, decent Tuesday pricing, nice facility! This place is better than your standard bowling alley, but the customer experience could use a bit of improvement. Came here on Tuesday ~8p to celebrate a friend's birthday and was told we'd have to wait an hour for 2 lanes. Ended up taking well over an hour and persistence at the counter to get helped. They only allowed 2 cards from my group to be used for payment which wasn't a big deal but inconvenient nonetheless. Since it was Tuesday, there was this "$2.88" promotion going on - entire ordeal still came out to about $10/person for one game. Actual lanes were nice, there's plastic dividers between each section and nice couches for waiting your turn. Drinks were conveniently brought to us when ordered on the screen. Overall, nice place. Yesterday, I visited Bowlero 1287 S Park Victoria Dr Milpitas with my family and encountered some issues with our online bowling tickets. Thankfully, the manager Luz and the staff member Ruben were there to help us out. They were incredibly patient and understanding, quickly resolving the problem with professionalism and a friendly attitude. They made sure we were taken care of and that our experience was smooth and enjoyable. Their dedication to excellent customer service truly made a difference, and we are very grateful for their assistance. I recently visited this location prior with a group of friends, I've never been to this location before we always went to the one by oakridge mall. We decided to go to this one considering it being closer to our group. Upon arrival we purchased our games. It was a semi busy night, for a Thursday night. The wait was not that long for our lane and upon ordering food the server brought us our food out fast, it looked a few understaffed but the server Alex helped us out and made sure we had everything we needed. Bowling was fun. Great time with great friends. The food was definitely a disappointment (hence the 3 star rating). $20.00 for mediocre nachos with steak, the loaded fries were a bit better, but not by much. We also ordered a sampler platter which costs approximately $30.00. After 3 inquiries over an hour wait, it finally arrived. The manager/owner did provide us with a 2 for 1 bowling coupon, but at that point the sampler platter should have been comped. Dirty floors, delayed service. Great value for money through Groupon But, hold on ...... overlook the delay in just putting up the bumpers. That took them 30 plus minutes to send someone to do that after 2 polite requests. I went in at 4.30pm on a Tuesday, no rush. Was ignored at the checkin for a good 5 minutes and then a rude "okay, how may I help you?". Food is average. But at least the food and drink service was decent. Only reason I'm not putting zero stars because I can't first off I'll start by saying it was fun to start the bowling and all but once customer service came into effect, it was really bad first they took an over an hour to bring our food and drinks and then when came, the manager was being very rude, asking for IDs and cards that were used to pay for it when it was already paid for on the kiosk, which I thought was extremely rude that we have been waiting a whole hour for our food and drinks and overall, he had no customer service skills for working at a bowling alley. I would expect better we we visited January 28, 2023, around 9 PM. Don't know the managers name but it was a bad experience. This was Gavin's 2nd time bowling. He loved it. He's actually into just about everything so I try my best to take him out to do things and to see things instead of watching mindless television or playing on his iPad. After his hockey class we enjoyed our lunch before coming here. I knew that if we came on an empty stomach, I wouldn't be able to refrain myself from ordering the delicious fried foods here. I looked at the menu a few times during our game but somehow was strong enough to not order. I deserve a medal. We played 2 games. I don't remember who won but I am sure it was Gavin. I don't care for bowling and wasn't really trying. At the end I did cave and bought $10 worth of credits for the arcade because I didn't want him to feel what I felt when I was a kid. My family was poor. We hardly went out. On school field trips I was the only one that brought lunch instead of buying lunch. I am doing everything in my power to give him what I never had. We played a bit but $10 was wasted fairly quickly. The establishment was clean. The guy that helped us was very nice and sweet. Parking was plentiful. This bowling alley is on the pricey side, take note! They do have various discounts on specific nights, so take advantage of that if you're able to. The interior is very sleek, the seats are well kept and clean, and the music and lighting are great. There are large screens across the bowling lanes that play music videos and sports. This is a solid spot to hang out with a small or large group of people. They have a menu of snacks and drinks full of pub food, but I didn't get to try any of that this time around. Updating my review from the other day.. we came back on 1/4/2023 and our lane kept getting stuck. We paid for (5) games for 3 people and we couldn't even get through all 5 of them because the lane kept getting stuck. We were here from 8 PM - midnight due to the constant issues. Balls were getting stuck and the pins wouldn't refresh, which also affected the lane next to us. Both of our lanes were stuck waiting around for them. Unfortunately because it was busy, we couldn't switch lanes either. Super frustrating because we wasted money and time. read more

Its amazing how I have been coming here since I was a child. From class field trips in elementary school, to college night out, and now to family night out! Bowling has becoming our children's new hobby and picked the Bowlero location in Milpitas to go as weekly basis although we live in San Jose. It is our children's new hang out spot. Pros: -They have good music blasting that'll put you in a good mood to bowl. -Good environment for kids. I can see that everyone is here for a good time. -Touch screen for you to order food and drinks. Once they're ready, someone will bring it to your lane. However, if you like a live bartender or a live person to take your order, there's a bar and food stand available for your need. -Plenty of parking spaces -Plenty of lanes -Large seating area at lane to hangout -Friendly Staff -Bomb chicken tender Cons: -Bathroom is dark, looks old and does not seem fresh. I will only go if I have to. - Arcade games are expensive but the good news is if you come on Tuesday's they're $2 for $5 worth of games. Tip: If you're into having a good time and not looking to break your wallet, come here on the days they offer good deals. Tuesdays are $2.22 game, and $2.22 food & drink starting at 8pm. This place is not a 1 star. In fact it should be shut down because it's a major safety concern and disaster waiting to happen.we had attended a friends party 2 years ago and back then it was very different experience. The place was better staffed and had better service . Unfortunately today I Celebrated my son's 9th birthday, and the experience was very much in contrast. I will be sure to warn all our friends and family not to ever make the mistake of hosting a party with them. After having attended multiple Bday parties of 2 kids over the past 16 years , by far the worst experience. The main issue is that they are terribly understaffed . For a party that started at 5.30 we had to wait over 15 mnts to have the side bumpers raised for bowling lanes , this was after the fact we told the front desk at least 2-3 times. The food is pre ordered but it was set up even before we arrived with no privacy, open to the public, not covered... finally when we started to take food there were no cutleries to begin with, after asking the servers and waiting for 5-10 mints they brought 11 plates for a party of 17kids, glasses were not available, kids were thirsty and the one pitcher of juice ran out in mints and no one was available to refill, to say the least it was utter chaos. A few of the arcade cards (3/17) had no credit in them. The cake we got was an ice cream cake and I called in the morning to confirm whether a freezer was available . They mentioned it wouldn't be a problem. Upon arriving at the venue and upon handing over the cake, I again emphasized, it needed to be in the freezer, not the fridge and it's an ice cream cake. They reassured me they will take care of it. But lo and behold, when finally it was time to cut the cake , the cake was all melted and dripping because it was not in the freezer for the last 90 mints. In fact the server told me they did not know which was my cake because there were three other cakes and I had to describe mine so they could bring mine out. Beyond words Finally, we had strangers pass by and take food from our station. Once again helpless, approaching the front desk their response was "what can we do. This happens time to time, people are drunk and we cannot control their behavior." I was beyond words . For one, I would think they would have addressed it if this is the norm, by placing the food some where more private to the party area, secondly how reassuring for a parent to know that I have 17 kids playing around and walking around the bowling area and arcade only to be told that the establishment acknowledges there are drunk and disorderly ppl walking around and they don't care about them dipping their hand in private parties food or if they were to something more serious, but it's not their responsibility. All I can say is that I call it a big save, that kids went home safely . Thankful to the parents who stayed behind and were able to keep an eye out on the kids.. Keep away from this place for parties especially of underage kids , if you don't want to get ripped. Horrible!!!!! read more

Threw my sons birthday party here yesterday and the coordination with Nicole was excellent. She was able to answer all my questions, fulfill my needs and provide different estimates for children and adults in my party. I gave Bowlero 4 stars because of the decor and layout for my guests. What I was not too pleased about was limited number of staff. I know it is Covid and it's hard getting people to work indoors during a pandemic but they had two ppl at the counter but then one of them ended up as a runner and behind the bar. We had one girl cater to our party but it seemed overwhelming for all of them. The place was packed and we were the largest party there. Our party package states that when food is empty it will be replenished throughout but we waited over 30 minutes for any one item to be replenished so my guests and kids weren't fed in the time span that they should had been. I assumed the kitchen was short too. On top of that, we got the last 5 lanes at the end and come to find out after 30 minutes or so the computer screen was broken for the first two lanes. My sister ran the names for both lanes to one of the guys and he disappeared, I don't know where he went and so I went up to the counter again and this other guy asked me to give him a list of names so I had to run back to my party and have my sister do it again while I was making sure my guests are ok but they weren't, they needed lighter balls for their toddlers, help with the bumper lanes and racks. I was told that each bowler can have their bumper lane assigned to them but that wasn't the case. It's either up for everyone or down for the whole lane. I was mislead during that conversation. I wasn't too happy because my guests (adults) and kids were waiting and it was chaos. Traffic jam at the counter. One guy told us we didn't have to wait in line when my guests arrive for their shoes but they all did because there was only one guy. Basically the first two lanes wasn't up and running until 40 minutes later and I only had two hours. We didn't get to finish our game, they shut it off and charged me an additional $100. It was all bad. Lol Our first time going to Bowlero too and my guests all traveled about an hour away to attend. Everything was late and delayed. read more

The cashier lady (around 20-30) who look like a little bit young treated like worst. We complained about the mechanical error and the staffs didn't show up for 15mins and the cashier stuff said the mechanic was fixing. It took over 20mins and nothing happened. We decided to leave and the game is only on the half way and she said she only charged 3 games. We haven't done one game yet. So much wasting time and worst customer service ever!!!!! Super fun! Came here for a party with my friends. The bowling place is super lit (seriously). It's lit up with a lot of lights and the vibe is really nice. There is an arcade and a bowling alley in here. My friends and I stayed here for about 3 hours and only bowled 2 games. We bowled super slow, but there were a lot of glitches in the system. Sometimes, we weren't able to bowl because the system broke down and sometimes, it redoes your turn. My friend had her party with food included, so we had pizza, buffalo wings, tater tots, and burgers. It was unlimited refills in 1 hour, so we ate a lot. Pizza- Ok, the cheese was already hardened on the pizza. The crust was nice and chewy. Buffalo Wings- Wish it was a little bit spicier. The sauce was there, but they didn't have enough. The chicken was a little over cooked, but in all, ok. Tater Tots- DELICIOUS! I loved the crunch to it and I ate a whole plate!!! Perfect! Burger- The burger was juicy, and the pickles gave it a great taste, but the cheese, oh the cheese was horrible. The fake cheese ruined it. This is the former AMF Mission Lanes that got a facelift to become Bowlero. I used to frequent here when I was younger with my cousins. 10 plus years later, we come here again and it still has the same fun and chill vibes like I remember. We were a large party of around 20 people. Since there were so many large parties celebrating at the same time, it got a bit chaotic because our lanes kept changing. This was only because some of the folks in my party kept requesting lane changes and the employees at the front desk were super accommodating. The music is pretty current/up to date (i.e. pop, hip hop, etc.), it's dimly lit in the alley (which I thought was a nice touch), and there's huge screen displays against the bowling wall. We ordered food (pizza, chicken wings, and parmesan fries) which surprisingly was tasty. I'd definitely recommend this place for bowling and look forward to coming back here. read more
