The location is very scenic and has you away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, but a short 20 minute drive gets you into the happening historic university town of Passau, Germany. The farm itself is a working dairy farm, and provides an opportunity for kids and adults alike to simply enjoy, or to help out around the farm. Little things like feeding the ponies, enjoying farm-fresh milk, and welcoming the bakery van each morning make the stay memorable. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, but don't expect air conditioning. Josef and Rosalinde Kimminger are wonderful hosts and I am amazed at how they find the energy to both run the farm as well as deliver such a great guest experience. Note that Josef and Rosalinde do not speak much English, and the dialect in this area is distinctly Bairisch, so a comfort with the German language is strongly recommended if you plan to stay here. A wonderful place for families to stay!
