I have played tennis for quite a while but never had played here. I found out it was a public…read moretennis center over a club which still didn't make up for easy flaws about this place. I played there in a tournament. The courts have not been surfaced any time recently. They are not in good shape by any means. I have been to free public parks that have much better courts than that. I was running out of water at one point in the match. They had holders for the big gatorade jugs. However there were no gatorade jugs. So yea rationing water during a match is not a fun thing to do. Then they have these benches where both players sit on the change over. I have never actually seen this before. I am used to having two benches so each player can sit there in silence and just relax. Plus if you are hating your opponent, you really don't want to sit right next to them. This one had this huge bench for both courts next to eachother so we would have to share one bench with 4 people if playing singles. Last but not least was there club house. Everything was decent until you sat down on a couch. I am not picky by what I sit on but when one couch has a huge area of duct tape over it, it is time to get another couch. There is a reason the tourney wasn't that big. Its a crappy facility.

I was visiting nearby and I decided to take a detour and bring my toddler to play. I googled nearby parks and this is what I got. UGH. Decent parking. Nice playground, safe even for the littler ones. This park has seating, pavilions, and a splash pad. Not to be confused with the daycare on the property that ALSO has a playground. Now. I love parks, but even my toddler was FULLY aware of how bad the trash was. And I quote, "EWWWW MOMMY TRASH." So, to no surprise, being the good boy he is (almost three) he walked around picking up ALL SORTS OF TRASH. it's pretty bad. Literally no matter where I look I can see some. What's even worse, is BROKEN GLASS! in several DIFFERENT areas... Good thing I don't let my son run barefoot. It's as if people drink and smash the bottles here.. Hmmmm..... Don't think I'll come here again. Also don't really recommend due to the state of the park and the area its in. I hate giving bad reviews like this. But really, it's a place for children and it's really not safe with all the glass and litter EVERYWHERE!

Our group booked a 9:50am tee time, tee'd off around 9:45 after the group in front of us tee'd off…read moreearly. Course management/staff failed to mention a tournament was starting at 10:00am - the first group of the tournament caught us and the rest of the regular players pretty quickly, and proceeded to hit into us the rest of the round. After the turn, one of the starters asked if we were in the tournament, and told us the tournament never should have caught us due to a 30 minute gap between our tee time and the starting of the tourney. We were told to "stay on the ass of the group in front of us" to preserve the tournament's pace of play. Towards the end of the round, one of the players behind us bounced their ball off our cart as we were pulling onto the 18th tee box, and then hit just left of it as we approached the green of that hole. We spoke with staff after the round and were told the tournament started at 10:00am, meaning there was no 30 minute buffer. Our round ended at 1:46pm, being four minutes short of a 4 hour round. Staff in the pro shop couldn't have been more condescending about the situation, and scoffed at the idea of players being able to determine when tournaments were being held prior to booking out a tee time. Overall, the experience was horrible, and I would have appreciated a refund on the round. Maybe don't book out normal player tee times prior to a tournament that will have accelerated pace of play, and hone in on those customer service skills across the board. It's a drop in the bucket for them, but I won't be playing here again.

The east course is a little tougher but the both play well. I was over here looking to see if they might also have a disc course tied to it but didn't see one. Parts of this course dates back to the 20's. They have a very large clubhouse with food and drink as well as a nice practice driving and putting areas. There were a lot of folks out despite the temps and the winds.

It is known as "The softball capital of the world". The main stadium houses OGE Field and seats about 13k. It's home to the annual Women's softball college World Series. It hosts numerous other college tournaments as well. The old stadium was a single deck without much protection from the sun. The new stadium is a double decker. I had the opportunity to work security at the old field for the last year in tht configuration. It's quite an amazing place now.

The restrooms are clean and well stocked and placed throughout the park. The water refill stations that look like big jugs with spigots dispensed chilled water! The ones attached to the walls barely worked. Definitely needed on a summer day! We parked at Remington Park and rode the free shuttle. It was easy peasy! The field is very well maintained and the outfield seats have a really good view of the whole field. All other seating has backrests. I'll be sure to get those next year. The concession stands were numerous and the food was very good! The aisles were easy to walk through and not too narrow like some places. My only possible negative is for the 2028 Olympics...they need to make a new entrance for the outfield stands. The backup line was horrendous to get through them. So many people funneled through a small space. There was only one way to go for so many sections. It took a while. Overall the park is clean and very well maintained. I was very impressed! The upgrade done to this venue was well worth it. It's definitely a world class park!!
