Dr. Bourdage is good as everyone says he is, actually, he's even better. I've been in so much pain over the years I've gotten used to it. There were times I was in so much pain I could not move so was taken to the emergency room. The big hospital took my X-ray and MRI and put me in a wheelchair. Then wheelchaired me into my car because I "wasn't broken", just in pain. I've gone to other chiropractors who recommended physical therapy. I've gone to months of physical therapy and eventually graduated from PT because I was mobile and was in less pain. And physical therapy was great while I was going. Once, I stopped going, even with stretches and walks, my pain came back and my mobility was affected. After my first appointment with Dr. Bourdage, I had more movement. I moved anticipating pain, only to realize the pain wasn't there. After just a few more appointments, I move like a different person. Now I don't anticipate pain so I can actually pinpoint where things are still stiff. He's efficient and kind and very understanding of my situation. I already told him I'm probably going to see him every year now that I know I need to be adjusted from time to time. I feel very fortunate to know he's not too far away from me. WOW! I cannot rave about Dr. Bourdage enough! I had a bad fall in the tub and messed up my hips/lower back pretty badly. I've gone to many drs and physical therapists. After a year of pain, my orthopedic dr told me this was just how I was going to have to live. I told Dr. Bourdage that, and he was appalled and told me absolutely not! After just a couple months of seeing him, the pain was almost gone (unless I aggravated it, which is very fair/understandable). I could not believe the progress I made with Dr. Bourdage, and I didn't think it was even possible! I remember when my days were constant pain, then they went to intermediate pain throughout the day, then I had good days with minimum to no pain, and finally I have more good days than bad now. I couldn't believe it. I've been in constant pain for almost 2 years, and after a couple months with Dr. Bourdage, I feel great!! Like I said, cannot rave enough! I feel SO great at the end of every session that it has become the highlight of my week!! I love leaving there feeling amazing and look forward to my appointments. I saw Dr. Bourdage a few times for chronic SI joint pain and alignment issues. He offered temporary help. But when I asked about my tendency to injure the same same joint, he told me it was due to "old age" (I was 49). He never took any x-rays, and I felt he was dismissive. An injury led me to a doctor and physical therapy. I have three congenital spine / joint issues he should have been able to see. Not a good experience. read more

This one sentence sums up everything. DR. BOURDAGE AND HIS STAFF ARE AMAZING! And yes, I am using all caps to scream that to everyone. If you have back issues, you owe it to yourself to see Dr. Bourdage. I suffered with severe lower back pain for minimally ten years before I was referred to Dr. Bourdage. I finally obtained a job with health insurance and I was happy to see that a good portion of chiropractic therapy was covered on my plan. Dr. Bourdage came highly recommended by a coworker and from the very first session, I could see why. At my first session, Dr. Bourdage took x-rays that clearly indicated what my issues were. He showed me two x-ray views and I was able to clearly see that my right hip was lower than my left hip and that I had a pinched nerve. I was relieved that there was a clear diagnosis. The worst is when it is inconclusive. Now I knew what needed to be done. At the end of the first session Dr. Bourdage said he would figure out a course of treatment and what my complete out of pocket cost of treatment would be. As promised, I came back for my second appointment, he suggested 28 sessions which would include adjustments, stretches and exercises and he also allowed me to go on a payment plan for the sessions. How absolutely accommodating! I cannot even express my gratitude for that. His flexibility is what actually allowed me to move forward with the sessions. Now, for the most important part of my experience....I feel AMAZING! I had immediate relief from my very first appointment which has continued to improve with each and every appointment. Dr. Bourdage is the best ever! I am actually able to do things that I once took for granted such as sleep without pain, get out of bed in the morning and simply standing or sitting for long periods of time. Prior to my treatments, I had no relief. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Bourdage. Additionally, i would like to add what a sincerely nice person he and his staff are. I've really grown to like these guys. The office is new, clean, convenient, and it isn't a crazy churn and burn operation like the last chiropractor I saw. It's easy to get appointments and the doctor and receptionist are both super friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly my back pain has gotten significantly better. Dr. Bourdage seems earnest in his desire to help patients live more comfortable and healthy lives. I would recommend him and the practice to anyone. On a side note, this practice doesn't use those mechanical traction tables. Here you do manual stretching which I'm sure is more effective even if it's not nearly as relaxing. I only mention it because it can be a bit of a bummer if you're expecting to have one. read more

As good as it gets. Dr Steve is awesome!!! As is the staff. I could barely lift my arm prior to treatments. Now, I can do handstands, literally :) Steve, being an athlete himself, knows the stresses we put on our bodies. Sometimes it can just be sleeping wrong and you end up with twitch. You know what I'm talking about...you wake up and you can't move your head and you find yourself saying OW!!! They've gotten me in on short notice when a twitch arose.
