Years ago they did the siding on my mother's home it now has issues with loose siding and some hail damage. Since it had a 50 year warranty I tried contacting them for repairs. It took months to even get them to come out and look at it. I even told Patrick I would pay I just wanted things fixed. He told me he would get right back with an estimate, Now it is almost 2 months later and many unanswered phone calls and absolutely no response. These people are unprofessional and dishonest... they installed new windows in my home in about 2006 and had all of the windows made too small... and then they just filled the gaps with caulking! There were places that I could see outside on the corner of the window and the caulking is messy and smeared, when I told Clayton Cordes that the caulking was too messy he became indignant and angry with me... and did nothing to fix it. Now more than 10 years later Clayton told me he had learned a lot in 10 years and now did nice work, I looked at a few of his siding jobs and they did look ...okay, so I asked him to side my home, his price was low and times are tight so I said okay. things seemed okay and Clayton came over a few times and told me that he wanted to make amends for the poor window installation and that he would do a perfect job on the siding and insulate the windows since he did not when he installed them, and that he would trim some extra windows for free, it all sounded good until I went to get a permit and found that I could not because Clayton did not have a business license... or liability insurance. This in itself is easily corrected, but instead of getting the license and insurance he kept lying to me telling me that, "everything is current" once again I tried to permit the job but the city of Longmont would not do it because he still did not have a business license and when I asked him about it he simply stopped responding. The lying and the immature response to getting caught were the parts that upset me most and now I have to shop for another person to side my home and postpone renting it out...Clayton did not only not come through but has cost me money, I wish he had matured like he told me he had, I gave him a second chance and he screwed me again... hire him at your own risk. read more
