As someone with a background in early childhood education I am a bit picky and critical. I have high standards of educational programs and how to relate to children. This program not only meets but exceeds my expectations for quality. The girls have learned a lot and Larry is wonderful, patient, kind and knowledgeable. My girls always look forward to returning. I would highly recommend this to any family interested in art education.

The administrative staff is very unorganized. We signed our son up for their "extra" day camps and classes, only to find out he didn't get to participate in half of them. When you walk in to the classroom, kids are running circles around the staff. Every few days my son came home with a note saying he was bit, or hit with a toy or something. If you want your young ones to get something out of their daycare... go someplace else. After a year here they asked us to either go full-time or rearrange our schedule and split a full week with another family. Well, ok - we decided it wouldn't work. So we found a different place and our son is thriving!!!!! Learning manners, comes home so happy. NO INCIDENT REPORTS. But, this place just won't go away. They charged us $100 registration fee the week before we left and charged us a full 2 weeks tuition after we left. They wanted us to change our schedule - it didn't work out - so now they want more money. I'm warning you - we had multiple tuition hikes while we were there and they charge you 2 registration fees per year. $$$$ Invest in your child. The place we go now is less expensive and such a better organization.

Poor communication Untrained coaches…read moreDoesn't respond to phone calls or email. I was told the coach was new and doesn't know the way to do it. Yet, no one talked to her or helped fix it. My daughter passed a level and should have moved up to the next level, but no one told us. So she continues in a level that she had already passed. I was told weekly by the coach my daughter was doing great and didn't need to work on any of the skills, but the coach wasn't good at keeping track of when they could do the skill. So I keep paying money for a level that she was bored with because the coach isn't doing her job at updating the skill sheets. No thank you! I tried for 3 weeks to communicate with administration who repeatly pushed me onto someone else, or didn't return phone calls or emails. Multiple times I was asked when was the best time to reach me. I responded with M-F 4pm-10pm or Saturday's (When I wasn't working and the gym is open. Any communication (which was be try little) was in the middle of the day (when I was at work) with a message saying sorry we couldn't reach you. No answers to my questions or a remedy to fix the problems. I do NOT recommend Jam Hops in Anoka/Ramsey.
