She answered all of my questions beforehand, gave me her cell phone number, reassured me, and gave me tips for the day of. Her studio is absolutely beautiful and very private. She and her makeup artist Destiny were there to greet me and they immediately made me feel extremely comfortable. Destiny did my makeup while LeZandra and I chatted about what types of images I liked and what I wanted out of my photo shoot. I brought some of my own outfits but she has a whole closet of beautiful lingerie and shoes to choose from as well. LeZandra guided me through poses and made me feel super comfortable but like an absolute supermodel at the same time. She was very encouraging and showed me images along the way to make sure I liked the direction she was going in. We ended up taking a little longer than her usual sessions because she was so easy to talk to and felt like an old friend by the end of our session. I ordered some 5x7 and 8x10 prints as well and they were also delivered with the photo book. My photobook is absolutely beautiful. The pearlized finish on the photographs is to die for and the leather cover of my book is fantastic - I even like the smell. I got a brown antique leather cover on the book (after much agonizing over which cover to get) and Leila was great - she sent me electronic images of what my covers would look like and answered the 300 million questions I bombarded her with regarding the shape of the edges of the pages, the background of the pages, etc. etc. (I am a stickler for the details). Though I have spent LOADS of money on this entire experience I feel that sometimes a gal has to do something that is only for herself (I did NOT do this for my husband or anyone but myself nothing wrong with those of you who do) and I am pleased with it. I'm a tomboy lol.... If the outfits I had were gonna work......But hair and makeup came out FABULOUS!!!!! After that it was time for photos. I can make things awkward on purpose and I didn't want the photos to come off as that. Once the first few photos were taken, the nervousness went away and felt empowered. The whole process of the day was easy and simple. I never wanted to cancel as I just wanted to do it and see th final outcome and I'm glad I did. The entire process for me was easy, simple, not rushed or felt like I was obligated to do it or purchase anything. From the first few calls of the consults, I asked all the questions I had and was given all the answers and then some. About time the session came, I was ready to go! Nervous but excited. As I said previously, hair and makeup was fabulous! I didn't recognize myself! I was in awe! The support system was incredible as they made sure I was comfortable with each step till the reveal of the shoot. And I still recognize myself in them lol. The whole day was my favorite! Did you feel nervous before the session and what helped you ease into the session? I did feel nervous but it went away after a while. It wasnt because I was in a room with someone else in lingerie. I think it was because I got into my own head and over thinking most of it. The photographer was amazing at everything and made me feel myself while validating everything that was going on. We were vibing together which made it more enjoyable. I felt full blown empowered. I felt like I'm the force of nature that has been hiding for so long. Something unleashed inside of me that has been hidden for so long. The confidence exploded and is out in full force. For me, it was finding the inner me that was put away for so long and now she's out!!! I would definitely do it again! I think all if not most women needs to at least do something like this once in life. There is something about having a team behind you, that gives 100% of making you feel good, confident, empowered, fierce,beautiful, sexy - because you are all of those things!!
