Each day there is a selection of home made quiches and a special of the day (salmon and cod terrine with a delicious salad, dressed to perfection on the day I was there) Their 'piéce de la resistance' is an exquisite selection of cakes. Strawberry gateaux, freshly baked scones and the most luscious lemon meringue pie with chunks of lemon and fresh eggs, all served in very generous portions.
The outside seating and the cosy bustling nature of rue du Palais Galien where Palais des Saveurs lies seals the deal. I will be back next time I am in Bordeaux.
