I arrived on time, but I was greeted by a young man named James, who I believe was an assistant. He informed me that Huey was still out to lunch. Unfortunately, his extended lunch was more important than attending a scheduled meeting with a new client. James was very helpful and professional in assisting me with the intake of my tax documents. He took my information, and told me that I would receive an email notifying me of any additional documents needed. I went home and waited for the email. After about a day, I called the office. It went straight to voicemail, and I left a message asking for the email I was told I'd receive. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any email, so a couple days later I called again, got the voicemail, and left another message asking for a follow-up. I've received zero communication back. Disappointingly, this was a total waste of time for me, and despite the positive reviews I read on the Yelp.com page for this business, I was totally ghosted by them after investing my time in trying to become a new client of theirs. Unless you enjoy wasting time and being ghosted, I do not recommend this business to any new clients. Update: About a week after writing this review, the owner of the company contacted me. They admitted to everything I wrote. Their excuse for Huey's extended lunch was that he had a stroke, and their excuse for not returning my calls was that they were having a new carpet installed. They then tried to bribe me into deleting my review by offering to do my next year's taxes free of charge. Attached is a screenshot of the text offering the bribe. Trying to bribe a client to pull an accurate review is a dishonest and shady business practice. All the more reason to avoid this place.

Not only didn't she acknowledge her bad behaviors and the impact to her client's tax filing due to her delay and mistakes, but also she lied on Yelp. Several months after she saw the bad reviews posted, she sent an email to me and my husband, apologized about her bad service and also offered free tax services, but at the same time she posted untrue responses on Yelp to defend herself. This is very inappropriate and is another example of her dishonesty and bad behaviors. She was playing games. Please take all the one star reviews about this company seriously, because people are nice and reasonable and won't post bad reviews if they have to.
