If it was possible to mark ZERO stars I would. I was on the receiving end of a business purchase w/ John Bottles and the purchase agreement he drafted looked like something a 6-year old would draft (half a page w/ 100 words) and the lease was 4-pages -- pathetic. I had to use my own attorney to draft appropriate documents at a personal cost. And on top of that, he posted a "for sale" sign next to the building a week after I bought the business and leased the building and I lost three (3) clients as a result since they thought the business was sold then immediately sold again. Zero responsibility taken and I emailed Mark Bottles with the issues and an ask for a phone call to discuss -- no call yet. This company is surviving in spite of themselves -- horrible -- if you find yourself in a transaction with Mark Bottles company, run the other way!!! read more

I'd recommend anyone who is looking to sell a home and John Bottles is the buyer's agent, I'd take the 2nd offer. My friend entered into a contract with buyer's represented by John - only to find that John would routinely push every action (even returning phone calls) until last possible deadline. Including setting a closing date, which invariably he set to 24 hours after 2nd inspection. Mind you my friend has a 6 month old at home. It was unbelievably unprofessional. He needlessly added an extra level of stress to a stressful time. read more
