Apparently they also sell food, like a small inner city IGA or Coles, but I've obviously been too drunk on the late night's I've ventured in here for a refill to notice. I believe they possibly stock the greatest range of alcoholic beverages in Melbourne CBD, and at the most competitive prices (most bottle-o's city central believe they have the right to rob you blind). Beware the many late night revelers and backpackers that random on in here due to the proximity of late night bars, clubs and hostels; but in saying that I've only ever met cool, fun people out to have a good time. All the booze you could want, at the best prices in the city, open at convenient times. Enough said?

Not a chain store insight! The bulk specials are what draw locals in. The prices are comparable to supermarket liquor stores which is unusual for an independent. They have a great range of beer, wine and liquor although what they really do well is the bulk specials such as the Beer packs. The location on a peak of busy Lower Plenty Road is definitely it's down fall. It is risky business parking in front of the store and jumping out of your car to avoid traffic. Be warned many a side mirror has fallen prey to this hill. There is limited parking to be find at a nearby restaurant, but for convenience parking out the front of the store is the way to go. A great local spot for your bulk buy liquor needs!

Mum explained that (obviously) she was the one buying this ONE bottle of vodka and it was for a birthday present, the man kept pushing, getting more and more agitated and rude. We then got to the counter where he and another staff member, Lucinda, started aggressively and very confusingly trying to explain "the law" to us, that because my brother and i were simply in the shop with our mum, they wouldn't sell her a nearly $100 bottle of Grey Goose vodka, as there was "suspicion we were taking part in the decision making". As they clearly didn't know what they were talking about, they dug their grave so deep they let loose that it is 100% up to the staffs discretion whether or not they could to mum. I presented them with my ID (which they have accepted in the pass) in an attempt to calm the staff down and bring a little common sense into the picture. They declined my ID just to be spiteful. These two staff members were incredibly rude, patronising, and frankly had no idea what they were talking about.
