Always Club, never again…read more This gym is horrendous. Hot. Overcrowded. Smelly. 70% Retro equipment. 30% new, but cheap equipment. In desperate need of renovations. I'm not even sure the structure can support all the weight sitting atop of it. For $150 pesos/day, there must be a better alternative.

Pretty much all of them have greeted me, have asked me if I needed any help on my workout or wanted to try something new. You can always find one to help you out. I did like that about the attention staff puts on customers. The Venue: It has three floors. The first floor is free weights and usually there's group sessions going on. The second floor has a big stretch area, free weights and machines, as well as a spin room. In the top floor you have all the cardio equipment. Most of the equipment is in good condition. Coming from the United States it was a bit of an adjustment looking for kilograms instead of pounds but one gets used it to it quickly. The venue can get extremely busy, so I do recommend going between 2-5pm. Many people take naps around this time so the gym can be enjoyed much more with less people at this time. The membership was approximately $30USD/month (cash only) and I have no complaints about it. You do have to do a physical exam for $5 USD and it is pretty simple. Upshot: This is a pretty good gym to workout to in Palermo. Of course, I do not have any other gyms to compare it to, but I have gone to plenty of gym in North America and Europe, and can say I was content here, overall.

Me and a couple of friends stayed in the Palermo area for a couple of months and wanted to find a…read moreworkout place that we would each be comfortable working out. To no surprise, Hitbox was a favorite for each of us. I've never worked out with boxing gloves and was initially extremely nervous, but it was great! The trainers are awesome and the music behind the workouts are really good. I've only worked out with 3 of them (Beto, Wally and Alex), but I like them all. I don't speak much Spanish and they were helpful and patient with me. I normally went in the mornings at 8 or 9 AM. The classes are approximately an hour long, but by the time you leave the class you will be drenched with sweat. They have nice locker rooms and places you can change and shower if you need. I definitely recommend this place. I hadn't worked out seriously in years and they were helpful with their techniques and recommendations.

I didn't know many workout-related words in Spanish, but the instructor took the time to inform my group with everything we needed. The workout felt rewarding, the right amount of tough, and fun! Great music playing while doing a set of HIIT workout with weights then switching to punching bags which made it easy to stay motivated. The bathrooms were pretty nice and the place had a juice/smoothie bar as well to recoup after the workout.
