Was definitely a bit more modern than most places in Puglia and certainly was not touristy at all. We showed up at 8pm on a Sunday night and were the only ones in there, pretty sure we took the staff by surprise. It filled in as the night went on. We got the several course antipasto, and each item was super tasty. Loved that the hams were served on a piece of tree. Fried cheese sticks were perfection. The "meatballs" were delicious. Hubby's main course was a pork chop wrapped in a crust was unique. I absolutely loved the carbonara-esque pasta I got. Wine was awesome (Li Veli). Was very reasonably priced. Overall really wonderful experience, would highly recommend La Civetta.
