It confirmed that an American should never order a burger in Europe. That's rather a broad stroke but we live in Europe and trust me, he has made this mistake many times. The beef just is too lean, causing a rock hard over cooked patty in this case. It was served on a bun that disintegrated into bread crumbs ( perhaps the kitchen might consider toasting the bun before serving). I had a Taco Salad. It piqued my curiosity. The pork was in little cubes that were spicy in a flavorful way, with rocket salad under it (which sort of cooked from the heat of the meat and sauce.) on the edge of the plate was a glob of mango from a jar. The flavor combinations were okay, and since this all sat on a huge papadan, inedible, the effect of all this soy sauce was Bangkok does tex mex. there was not one ingredient reminiscent of south of the border chilli spices, onion..etc. so again, this was an American thinking that something quite different was going to be on the plate. Oh well, it wasn't bad, just a surprise. Also ordered a small plate of focaccia with aioli which came after the main course, effectively it was toasted bread (over $5 for four slices). This restaurant is on the harbor across from the shopping center and parking seemed to free up often enough. Our bill for three, including a beer and a coke, was over the equivalent of 75 dollars. I would recommend having a beer out on the deck (views!) and then going elsewhere to eat. Oh, we wanted the enticing Mussels in cream for lunch, but they were "out" so we needed to order a second choice.

We had this traditional fish stew that was tomato-based, and it really hit the spot. I also loved the dessert, which was a flan dish. The staff was extremely nice, even though we only spoke English. You can mix 2 kinds of specialty pizza for 250 kroner. They also have very large burgers for the price. However my favorite foods are the Kebabs. The two that I really gravitate towards are the Rulle Kebab which is 110 kroner and the Kjempe Kebab which is only 160 kroner. The Rulle Kebab is basically the Kjempe Kebab rolled up. The Kjempe Kebab has a huge amount of kebab meat with a special kebab sauce on top. There is a little salad on the side with a very tasty dressing. You can choose to have chips (French fries) or rice with the dish. They even put a few little pita bread pieces on top of it all. Many people can't finish the plate, but if you have a big appetite like me, you'll love how perfectly full this meal makes you.

Looks like a cafe from the outside, but definitely a restaurant. Good for kids, but atmosphere for adults.
