Very nice store with a lot of flowers and plants to choose from. The store, already big, is getting even bigger. They're adding a new section to it, and it'll be a 3 hours walk... Good for those who like to walk.
I was surprised by the quality of the plants, and the freshness. I've been there a few times and I've never seen a dead one, so it's a good sign.
My one negative comment, would be that they have too much crap. Meaning that in addition to plants, which was the intended reason for the store, you can now buy candles, frames, baskets, useless sculptures, and things. Things that we don't need, mainly because they're of inferior quality and design. Oddities and clutter would be my way of describing these extra things.
However, I love the fact that they have a green market, offering local organic produces, and a bookstore. The bookstore, is based on plant care and trees, flowers and such, but it begins to carry a bunch of useless things as well.
I get it, they're bringing what we ask for I guess. You can now buy an orchid, two pounds of onions, a cook book and some Christmas light in the same store. That's Botanic.... read more
