The pizza took 1 hour to arrive when i was 5 min away and the pizza was terable. there aren't enough negative words to describe this food. the cheese had the taste and texture of rubber and the crust was stale and tasted like cardboar. not to mention that for 4 small and disgusting pizzas it was almost $150 dollars! i highly recommend that anyone who thinks of eating here doesn't do so. horrible food, horrible service, and horrendous prices. read more

I had a late lunch today at Boston Pizza. I sat on the dining room side. I felt like pasta and created my own ... penne, tomato marinara, diced chicken, spicy Italian sausage and baked cheese. Boston Pizza used to have a broken lasagna I liked that they've taken off their menus so I tried to replicate it. It was good and tasty. I would pass on the diced chicken next time, though, as it was diced too small ... it would be better if it was chunkier. Natasha was friendly and took good care of me. read more

We hosted an event to raise money for a friend with cancer at this Boston Pizza. The staff, particularly manager Sam, were incredibly accommodating and helpful. The heated patio looked beautiful and fit our 65 patrons comfortably. Of course, the food was wonderful. If I'm ever hosting an event again in the future, BP Cobourg will be my first choice. read more

Just a terrible BP experience. Drop by here every month or so. Was here 2-3 weeks ago and has a nice burger bud experience. This time burger and bud deal was a disaster. Waited 30 min and a cold burger and and barely warm fries shows up. Send it back and get apologies and promise of much better experience. 20 minutes later replacement shows up. Same thing. Unliveable. I apologized to waitress and told her I'm mad - just not at her. I actually felt kitchen did this as - my punishment for sending back first time. I truly thought they would do what most places do - over deliver the second time around to make up for the first poorly delivered meal. I told them I'm leaving and will NOT be back for a long time. I got a sorry and a free beer but I wasted 1 hour waiting. For a meal I never got. I hope the kitchen heard loud and clear about their failed attempts to do a decent job. BM . read more

Stopped here on my way back from Ottawa. Sunday around lunch time. The place was not very busy, probably due to the winter storm that was hitting us. Waitress was nice and friendly! Food was good! The little dipper was a nice meal. First time trying this. Water tasted a bit funny. Not sure what that was about. Overall a good experience!! 4 stars for service and food. read more

I really wanted to prove the other reviewer of this place wrong, but after looking at the menu and eating the food, I had to agree with him. The pizza was good, but the prices are crazy outrageous. FH and I ordered delivery from here. Nothing crazy - pasta with mediterranean flavours and a greek salad. The salad was fine, crisp and a perfect amount of each ingredient. However, the pasta was almost inedibly spicy - and this is coming from someone who loves heat! The dish was not claimed to be spicy on the menu and my poor fiance had stomach troubles after eating it. In addition, we only got one set of cutlery with our order but were not about to wait another hour for the delivery guy to bring us another - thank god our hotel room had some! read more

normally happy with our deliver, BUT tonight I ordered at 5:20, and at 7 I called to ask where our order was. it hadn't left but was going to get bumped up. 7: 20 I talk and it still had not left and was mistaken for take out. they where remaking the food as priority and it was on the restaurant for our dinner tonight 8:20 it apparently had left the restaurant, now 9:50pm we never Received our order. the worst experience and likely will not see any resolve to the matter. one of a few places my spouse can eat due to his resrictions in his diet. if we order again it will be a while. read more

I had the "big dipper" sandwich today with my nephew. Side caesar was tasty but the amount was lacking - a little more would have made this review a "fiver" The sandwich, however, was awsm. Horseradish mayo on the side with au jus made the platter a nice luncheon. Service was friendly but not overthetop- just the way i like it. Price was reasonable for the amount of beef loaded on the sandwich. Overall a good lunch. read more

This is a review based on two experiences Saturday September 16th and Friday September 21st. Both time we went with a group of people. Both times the service was super super slow. I don't think the staff understands the word 'Hospitality' a few key issues: 1. When bringing food that is traditionally served with ketchup, bring the ketchup. People should not be waiting 10 minutes for their ketchup. When I got to your server station to actually get said ketchup just give it to me. Don't shoo me away with the commentary that you will bring it right over and then have us still waiting five minutes (because five minutes feels like 20 when you are cold) and then the food is not good. 2. Ask us about drinks! Once the first order comes in ask if we would like another including those with that have Free refills. Why? Because that is what constitutes basic hospitality. 3. When serving dishes that traditionally offer cheese...ask if we want cheese! Where the heck was the parm? 4. I may be on a patio but is that any reason to not have salt and pepper on the table? 5. Do not bring the bill when people are still eating!! After people eat they will still want another drink, coffee or even dessert. 6. I think I am going to have to repeat this. Clear the dirty dishes before you place a bill on the table. Clean the dirty dishes on the table around you customers. 7. Point 5&6 are about rushing us out the door. Do not rush the customers. Most us spend our days rushed. When we choose to spend our money it's going to be somewhere where the service is not rushed and we are looked at at more than an opportunity for a tip. 8. When you Customer (i.e. Me) gives you the server feedback about stop rushing us to pay the bill (jeez we were still waiting on drinks and had plates of food on the table) understand that I am giving you feedback (I said as much) and come back out to finish that job. This is the real world and yes there are still people that will share with you their commentary. Don't ignore them after. 9. Management. This is your responsibility. You are the reason that your Front of House staff have no concept of hospitality. Take the time to train and give positive and constructive feedback. To be honest staff is always a reflection of how they are treated. 10. Don't think this is going to be our go to place in Cobourg. Super disappointed and going to make sure that the hockey team does not have this location on its list of places to Go after the game. 11. Work on it. Take it back to basics and make the experience customer focused you can turn this around!! read more

I have frequented this Boston Pizza for ten years but it has gone downhill. I went to a UFC event there the other night hoping to have a late dinner. The jambalaya fettuccine came out with practically no sauce on it with very few toppings and the shrimp skewers that were supposed to come with it didn't arrive until 10 minutes later swimming in butter. By then, my dry pasta was cold. I thought I'd take another stab at it and order another favourite on the menu, the Chicken Pecan Salad. It came out looking like someone haphazardly threw it together with half the ingredients on the plate and wilted lettuce. I decided that it just wasn't my night and took to drinking instead. And when you send back burnt toast that's hard as a rock, they'll send you a new one...and charge you a dollar for it. Talk about nickel and diming you! I've had many unpleasant experiences at this place including rude wait staff, being forced to cash out before the evening was over to only be ignored by everyone for the rest of the night. And when you consider the quality and quantity of food that we have become accustomed to has diminished, it's hard to go back. read more

After waiting a century for our first drinks my fiancée ordered a jolly rancher fish bowl and received what looked like a killer kool aid fish bowl. After talking to the manager she was very snarky and asked if we even knew what was in a fish bowl. She brought another one back and said there you go I made it myself.. still tasted the same instead of arguing my fiancée decided to keep it ( did not drink it). Both my boyfriend and I eat at Boston pizza regularly in Cambridge, ON and Canmore, AB. We were in Cobourg for a hockey tournament with all our kids and decided to order in to the hotel...after all the Boston Pizza is right down the street and they answer their phone stating 'we deliver'. We ordered simple things. Wings, some kids pasta meals and a salad. $80 meal...and when it arrived we received no cutlery, the naked wings we ordered with hot sauce on the side came with no hot sauce, and my salad came with no dressing. Needless to say...sitting in a hotel room watching the Canada junior game I was not impressed. I do still enjoy Boston Pizza, but this one on particular needs to check their take out orders much more carefully. read more

Great service. Everyone who works here is very nice and remembers us when we come in. No complaints! The only thing I have ever had an issue with BP is their ceasar salad. I find they don't mix it up. The chipotle chicken club is amazing! The only downfall about BP is the prices for pizza. Way too expensive. Pretty ridiculous actually. But other then that, alls good! read more
