It's spacious, well-organized, and clearly built to handle huge crowds. Security was solid, and everything felt pretty well-managed overall. While I do think tickets can be on the pricier side, you definitely get what you pay for. Even though I Wasn't on the floor, my second-row seat was incredibly close, close enough some of the members interacted with me! All in all, I had an amazing experience and I would absolutely recommend this venue for concerts, sporting events, or whatever brings you here.

It was so fun to watch Swiss fans go crazy for their team, as this is something we are very familiar with in the USA. However, we are not familiar with being able to eat a large bratwurst, served with mustard and a mini loaf of wonderful bread. The accommodations are great, food and drink areas ample, and the stadium is quite beautiful. Lots of great fans getting serious about their team and winning hockey! It was fun! I felt like one of the many Zurich fans, cheering and chanting, and getting rowdy right alongside them. Lots of fun and pretty reasonably priced. Oh wait, the tickets were free because my cousin paid for them!

The worst cinema experience in Switzerland, I recommend to just avoid it. I went to a 4DX movie…read more(Deadpool x Wolverine) where all 4D effects were not synchronized with the movie. More precise, every effect happened 2 seconds before, compared to the movie. This completely destroyed the movie experience, nothing made sense as you got a flash or hit in the chair before it actually happened on the screen. The cherry on the top was the heat inside the room in the middle of the summer with no ac, and very smelly. I tried to go out to find somebody, but late in the evening there were only cleaning personnel around. After reporting this, they promised in an email to refund the money. However, after 2 days, they just decided not to refund anymore, as 'the situation is not clear'. Also, no mention of actually fixing the issues in that email. Instead, they tried to offer tickets to a 'normal' screening (so not 3d/4d) of any future movie, but by now I don't want to be near that place, so I refused. Incredible lack of responsibility and absolutely careless about their clients. To my surprise I found many similar negative reviews starting years ago, which is another clear sign they absolutely don't care to fix anything and lack respect towards the people.

The stadium is huge and actually way bigger than St. Jakobshalle, where Eurovision itself was held. The Public Viewing Show was completely sold out, and the stadium was packed! While entering the stadium and waiting in the long lines, many people joked, 'Who's even inside the arena if everyone is waiting to get into the stadium?' :-) The stadium's overall condition is good. It is noticeable that the whole venue is a bit dated, and it definitely needs a facelift to look nicer. Despite that, all areas were very clean. There are plenty of restrooms around the stadium with easy access from any section. There are also many food kiosks offering a good variety of snacks and drinks. Prices for food and drinks were mid-range, but actually reasonable compared to the generally high prices in Basel. Garbage bins were placed right by every section, which was a big plus. The seating and section numbering were well organized, so I found my seat without any problem. My seat was in Block Parkett C4, Row 16, and I had a very nice view of the whole stadium, specifically of the huge LED screen in the middle that broadcast the Eurovision Grand Final. The seat was moderately comfortable, definitely more spacious and better than the seats in St. Jakobshalle. I can absolutely recommend this specific section and row to anyone coming to the stadium to watch a game - the overall views are very clear. I'm not sure if the sound system was arranged specifically for the Eurovision Public Viewing, but the speakers worked flawlessly - the sound quality was outstanding throughout the stadium. The stadium is easy to reach from Basel or from Saint-Louis, France, where my hotel was right on the Swiss-French border. It's about 20 minutes by direct train, around 45 minutes on foot, or even faster with scooters and bikes using Basel's bike lanes; from my hotel in Saint-Louis an Uber ride took just 12 minutes and cost €15. Another highlight was the stadium's capacity to launch massive, spectacular fireworks - like the ones at the end of the Eurovision Grand Final. Overall, visiting St. Jakob-Park for the Eurovision Grand Final Public Viewing Show was an unforgettable experience that I truly enjoyed. I hope the venue will get a facelift and be further modernized in the future to host more high-tech events - maybe even another Eurovision someday, who knows? ;-)
