I had an event scheduled for months but, as a small business owner handling every aspect of my practice, I failed to order my promotional materials until the week of the event - 2 days before, to be exact. I reached out to several businesses on Yelp, feeling very defeated and preparing to be let down, despite hoping for the best. Kevin replied promptly and my order was placed, with Kevin accommodating my request for several last minute add-on items, even before other vendors replied. He assured me my order would be available next day but also called to inform me it'd be towards the end of the day, just to be sure he could deliver and I didn't need the products earlier. Throughout the rush order process, he communicated deadlines, instructions, and expectations clearly, and was promptly responsive to all my inquiries, which gave me security in knowing the product would likely be of a similar high caliber. The next day, Kevin hand delivered my order to me in Broward, just as promised. In addition to the impressive turnaround time, I was floored to see the high quality of the deliverables. Although this is my business' first event, someone else I know who routinely works these types of events was shocked when I told them the speed and quality with which it was delivered as well as the reasonable price point. I am excited to have these promotional items for my event and suspect they will inspire me to put my business out there more frequently now that I have an impressive setup thanks to The New Caribbean. Just to give people an idea of how this company operates, I was told 8/11 that I would get proof of…read morethe text for the t-shirt the next day, that didn't happen & on the 13th I got a picture of the text on a t-shirt which I didn't approve and requested a minor adjustment in person at the store on the 14th and requested a proof that day ,I waited a few days & on 8/17 I receive a text saying my t-shirt that included pictures of the actual printed t-shirt that I never received a proof of for my approval was ready for pickup. Also on the 14th I was told that upon pickup I would receive a refund for $2 for the t-shirt I provided them. I went back to the store on the 18th and asked why the proof wasn't sent after I had texted them earlier that day to enlarge the text and send a proof & got no response to that text. At the store at first they acted as if I hadn't given specific instructions on text size & for proof approval but agreed to remove the the text and enlarge it. Never got any notification that the order was ready & when I went back to the store for pickup on the 23rd I was told that they couldn't give me the $2 refund I had been promised because the safe was locked as if they have no change for their customers who pay in cash. They said I would have to wait around for the owner to show up for my refund whenever that would be who knows, I explained that I couldn't wait around for who knows how long as I had to get to work. I asked why would they make me drive back there another day & Jose just repeated that there was nothing he could do because my refund was in the safe with a big smirk on his face. So I left & I won't be coming back ever. They can keep the $2 as I have no desire to deal with those who don't keep their word and then taunt their customer with pathetic excuses.

I would like to share my candid review about my experience with Mike. I initially contacted him at…read morethe beginning of November 2025 to inquire about shipping my blank t-shirts and sending him my high-density prints with my logo for heat transfer. He agreed to proceed. I sent my blank t-shirts, which were delivered on November 17, 2025, and then sent my high-density print rubber with my logo on November 28, 2025. However, he did not communicate the labor costs involved. We communicated until December 5, 2025, but I did not hear from him again for nearly three weeks until December 22, 2025. When he finally responded, he explained that he had to step away for business unexpectedly, but he failed to inform me of this situation beforehand. Since December 22, I have not received any further updates. I have called daily and sent an email, but I have not heard back for nearly a month. This lack of communication is unacceptable and reflects poorly on his business practices. At this point, I simply want my items returned, as I am not willing to wait any longer. If you are looking for someone who prioritizes effective communication and values your time, I would not recommend going to Hialeah Printing.
