We got to learn the history of tequila, how it was made, and the many different distilleries. It was an eventful, extremely fun, learning tour. The tour guide was amazing! I would definitely recommend it!

I was excited to do the Tequila Express tour. I figured it'd be somewhat touristy like the Napa…read moreWine Train. We got there and registered. It's kinda hard to find, as there's not many signs to lead you in the right direction/area. In fact several others got lost and we had to return back, once we left post. We registered and they had water and treats to eat. Three of the guys that were going to be on the actual bus was there to greet us at the breakfast set up they had. They were all polite and throughout the entire tour. I was under the impression that we were going to hit up several Tequila plants. But not so. We stopped at one place where they showed us how they manufacture the tequila agave plant. They explained in detail. The only thing it was in Espanol, no english. The next and only stop was Casa Sauza Tequila factory. I thought we were going to stop at 3 Mujeras and other tequila factories but we didn't. Once we walked through Casa Sauza we left the plant. The tour company had us walk 3 blocks back to the bus. Luckily for us the Mexican police had several criminals sprawled up against a wall. To be honest this was quite scary as first off, Tequila Express should have never allowed us tourist, to walk through this dangerous neighborhood. As I mentioned before the 3 servers on the bus were superbly nice. Very generous in giving us water, tequila shots and whatever else we wanted to drink. Certain Tequila is limited so know that. Not sure if it's expensive or not. The bathroom on the bus was out of order. No bueno. You know you're doing a tour, fix them. Please as I understand these buses are run by a certain Tequila Factory but be straight up and say this. It's false advertising in my opinion to only hit up one facility. And for extra pesos you they'll take you to a little town, while others was Mariachi's at the Tequila facility. Oh yeah, a good buffet provided.

Let's get ready to luchahhhh! A must when you're in GDL.We went on the Martes de Glamour night…read more(Tuesday) and it was insane. From what I've read, the Sunday night matches start earlier and are more family-friendly. That said, I'm glad I got the full Martes experience. Need a beer? No worries, they deliver them right to you? Need a snack? The same applies. I couldn't have thought of a better way to spend my birthday. The best part, aside from the flamboyant theatrics, was the atmosphere. It was like Thunderdome! From the raucous attendees behind the fences, crazy chants, and overall insanity, this was something not to be missed. We caught the double decker bus from Red Pub (go see their Yelp) and made a great night of it. For us ladies, either bring your own toilet paper or remember to bring some change for the restroom attendant. There isn't any there in the stalls. Also, buy your mascaras elsewhere. While fabulous and fun, they're overpriced and the vendors don't leave much room for bargaining. Overall, a fantastic time! Viva la lucha!

The higher tier seats are the cheap seats and the folks in them are more than happy to let you know that throughout the performances the closer seats are more than happy to tell the cheap seats to stay in their place. It's all great fun if you love wrestling and even if you don't, this place is a must.
