I really had great time, it was packed indoors and outdoors however everyone was dancing and enjoying so much. Atmosphere was amazing: I really liked the way Djs mixed their music and created beats that reflected also instrumental culture of different regions. Also last bit where music change to rave was so cool. Very smooth service and I had mine white wine with ice and orange whole night long - :) Great event, amazing people and place - all together I had great night till very morning- dancing mostly :) You could feel so positive flow in the air- everyone was enjoying... I forgot to add that Djs mixing music using vinyls were outstanding too...

The band's: Taco Hemingway: they obviously are heavily influenced by Massive Attack and Tricky,, who I love as well so great music, the only issue is that great rap should be staccato like a drive by shooting and you can't do that with the long words and soft sounds of Polish. Kamp: nice lounge music, great accompaniment for a beer in the sunshine. Aurora: Hippie chick with a great voice, something between the Cranberries and Clannad. No one has moved more strangely on stage since the death of Ian Curtis. Viet Cong: Indie guitar band, but no disguising the fact that they have poor songs and no one with a voice, until they disguised the fact by turning up the distortion and jamming. They have just f**king rocked the place, climaxing with the intensity of a My Bloody Valentine gig, there goes the hearing. Low Roar: some more lounge music and a well needed rest before the headliners. Maccabees: Great live band, aggressive, tight but without losing their musicality, their songs aren't something I would listen to at home though. They have very short fans (I felt like a giant), maybe they should be called Minibees. Ratatat: Great visuals, dancy music but utterly empty, good time for a meal break. Foals: never heard of them before but they were huge (tall fans as well), almost as big as Kasabian, the crowd went wild dancing along, a fantastic finale for a great day.

When we planned…read moreour trip we didn't realize that we'd be in town the week of Easter but it turned out to be awesome! This market takes up about 1/2 of the main square and has everything you need - homemade palms, lamb cakes, Easter candies, elaborately frosted cookies, painted wood eggs, plenty of crafts and lots to eat. We visited a few times during our trip and had some cheap and tasty meals for sure - my favorite was a thick slice of bread topped with delicious sausage slices. I found that souvenirs were well priced and good quality too - it helps that many of the customers are local. We came home with a handmade lace tablecloth with embroidered flowers for under $100. The best part was all of the festivities on Palm Sunday - tons of different cultural groups, singing, ladies carrying giant handmade palms...just great!
