Not going back anymore. Patients are important too. I imagine there are other doctors in the East Brunswick area that would fill the void left by patients jumpinghe ship. She's a nice person really. But the way she runs a practice, leaves much to be desired. I beg others to look for another physician. I gave her, and her staff, the benefit of the doubt twice before, but I will never go back.

I strongly advise anyone who seeks out Todd Morrow to get a second opinion. As a surgeon, he is…read morecompetent and will probably leave you with little to no complications. However, when I went to him for a nasal polyp, he actually ended up performing two other procedures that were completely unnecessary that he never spoke of in our THREE pre-op appointments. When I signed the consent form in the pre-op room, I thought it was just the formal name of the procedure I was having done. I didn't realize until I woke up with a splint in my nose that I had a septoplasty. Technically, it wasn't illegal because I did give consent but it was completely unnecessary procedure and I am certain now that I never had to have surgery to begin with. I will always tell people to avoid his practice, but I will say that I learned an invaluable life lesson. As a patient, you have a responsibility to be your own best advocate and part of that is understanding that you are as much a person in need as you are a customer. Thankfully, I healed properly and there were no complications from the procedure, but I will never be so trusting of a health care provider again.

However, getting in to see him can be a bit difficult. Wait times vary, as he can range from being on time to over an hour late as he also works at two hospitals. He also only has weekend hours once a month, so if you need to see a doctor on a Saturday or Sunday, you'll either need to go to Urgent Care or to the ER. His staff also can be iffy, but that's changed recently. They are much better now. Overall though he does a great job and his bedside manner is actually some of the best I've had from any family doctors I've seen.

It was really hard to have to look for someone that was a great dr with a really great bedside manner! And so I talked to my old dr and he gave me the recommendation for dr Unger! I still have issue with my stomach but I know whenever I need to see dr Unger they will get to me in ASAP and everyone is very helpful at the front desk!!! I tried for weeks to make an appointment for a colonoscopy, but ToniAnne refused to return my calls. (Left multiple messages.) The receptionist finally called her and connected me. She told me the appointment was "at the same office". When I asked her again for the address, she said "the doctor's office". So, I went to the Bridgewater office only to have the receptionist *mock* me for several minutes! The appointment was at the Watchung office. The doctors do not seem much better either. When I had seen the doctor, that meeting lasted less then 5 minutes. That was it. He did not ask many questions. The doctors and the staff are a good fit: uncaring and/or incompetent.
